SETTING BLIND RIVET NUTS THE EASY WAY GESIPA tells Torque how its FireBird Pro is setting new standards in blind rivet nut setting he times when setting blind rivet nuts in a proper way required studying long tables and repeated testing are long gone. With its new FireBird® Pro GESIPA provides a convincing and innovative setting tool that allows to make the necessary adjustments in a very easy way. By means of the table in credit card size that comes with the product, an indicator based on size and material is determined. It is then directly entered into the tool – and off you go. For setting different nuts, up to 10 programs can be stored. The new battery-powered FireBird® Pro has a setting force of as much as 20,000 N which means that rivet nuts up to M8 in steel and M6 in stainless steel are no problem at all for the new setting tool. The best possible user comfort and efficient operation are guaranteed by the automatic drill-on and drilloff function, by a setting speed that is nearly double that of other tools as well as the convenient option to keep spare mandrels and nosepieces directly in the tool. The quick change systems allows to change them in no time. In addition, the brushless motor of the FireBird® Pro shows almost no wear and tear which means that is has a long service life and is efficient in use. To put it in a nutshell: Convenient - Easy – Good.
