The only brother of 3 sisters from Brooklyn, NY, Derek Duane Kendall JR, a.k.a Dee, started showcasing his artistic abilities at a very young age. When he was just 11, his father left the world. So, he couldn’t have a luxurious childhood, but the bundles of extreme blessings he received in his later life due to his resilient nature and constant hard work made him a staunch believer in God. Every step towards his dreams made him more content. He never stopped paying gratitude to the supreme power throughout his successful journey!

As far as his approach to life is concerned, he takes the philosophy of ‘cause and effects’ very seriously. To him, everything in life has clear reasons for its existence. He has matured into a young guy who is observant but also tender and softhearted like an 80s baby! With his magnetic personality, he soon got into a relationship. He and his girlfriend had a beautiful daughter, but they soon had to part ways. Undoubtedly, he had some rough patches in his life, but he took everything as a lesson and turned all the odds in his favor. His hardships made him believe that success never comes free but demands its cost that he paid very well. He courageously withstood the tough days, and all of those odd winds finally shaped the all-rounder entertainer, “Derek Kendall.”

Additionally, he has been a part of over 400 fashion shows, a plethora of publications & collaborations in just a matter of 6 years. This is not the end; he entertained the audience with his meticulous acting skills in many film projects. Some of his hit film projects include Howard on Jam Network TV, The Man Behind the Art Rap, ft Mick Benzo, Zeke The Awakening, Foster Sin & more. Latest Projects

In terms of upcoming endeavors, he’ll wow audiences as Gee-Money in a new film project titled, New Jack Empire, From Gangsta to God. Derek studied tremendously hard for this role, paying attention to the era of the classic movie and getting into a deep thinking mode. Additionally, his latest feature-length film Zeke The Awakening, will be streaming this Spring/ summer. He’ll also host the red carpet for the 2022 Infinite Exposure Fashion Shows during New York Fashion Week!
