SUPPLEMENT TO ADD TO YOUR REGIMEN

There’s something empowering about aging gracefully, feeling confident in your skin, and knowing that every line tells a story of a life well-lived. But as time goes on, it’s natural to want to keep that inner vitality shining outward too. At 70, I’ve learned that taking care of your skin isn’t about vanity, it’s about self-care, self-respect, and self-love.

Over the years, I’ve tried many skincare approaches, but one of the most transformative additions to my routine has been using a red light therapy mask. I use mine three times a week, and it includes a shield for my neck because aging doesn’t stop at the jawline. The results have been nothing short of amazing. My skin feels firmer, smoother, and more radiant, and people often tell me I look years younger. But beyond the compliments, what truly inspires me to share my experience is how deeply red light therapy supports skin health, especially as we age.

WHAT IS RED LIGHT THERAPY?

Red light therapy is a form of low-level light therapy that uses wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to rejuvenate the skin and promote healing at the cellular level. Initially developed by NASA to help astronauts heal wounds and regenerate tissue in space, it’s now widely used in dermatology, sports recovery, and wellness clinics.

The red light penetrates the skin’s surface and stimulates the mitochondria inside the cells to produce more energy. When your cells have more energy, they perform better, just like you do after a good night’s sleep or a nourishing meal. That means your skin cells can renew themselves faster, repair damage, and produce more collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for keeping your skin firm, plump, and youthful. It’s a natural, noninvasive way to give your skin the boost it needs to look and feel revitalized from the inside out.

WHY RED LIGHT THERAPY BECOMES MORE IMPORTANT AS WE AGE

As we age, our bodies gradually produce less collagen and elastin, leading to fine lines, sagging skin, and loss of firmness. On top of that, years of sun exposure, pollution, and lifestyle habits take their toll. The skin’s natural

THE AGE-DEFYING POWER OF RED LIGHT THERAPY

repair process slows down, and cell turnover becomes less efficient. This is why older skin tends to appear dull or tired, even when you’re feeling vibrant inside.

Red Light Therapy helps reverse some of the visible signs of aging by stimulating your body’s own healing mechanisms. Unlike topical creams or invasive procedures, red light therapy works from within. It energizes your cells, encouraging them to repair and renew. This is especially beneficial for those of us in our later years, when the skin needs more support to stay supple and healthy.

For me, using my red light therapy mask three times a week has become a relaxing ritual, a moment of quiet self-care. I put it on in the evening, let the soft warmth of the light wash over my face and neck, and take those moments to breathe deeply and unwind. It’s not just skincare; it’s a holistic wellness practice that nourishes both body and mind.

THE SCIENCE OF YOUTHFUL SKIN

Collagen is the key structural protein that keeps skin elastic and smooth. By our 30s, collagen production starts to decline, and by our 50s and 60s, it can drop dramatically. Red light therapy has been shown to increase collagen production and improve skin density, helping to reduce wrinkles and restore firmness.

When I first started using my mask, I didn’t expect such visible results. Within a few weeks, my skin began to glow in a way it hadn’t in years. The texture felt smoother, my pores looked smaller, and even the fine lines around my mouth and eyes seemed softer. What impressed me most was how healthy my skin felt. It was more resilient, hydrated, and balanced.

BENEFITS BEYOND BEAUTY

While red light therapy is often celebrated for its anti-aging effects, its benefits go far deeper than what’s visible in the mirror. The same cellular energy boost that rejuvenates the skin also helps reduce inflammation and promote healing. That means it can be useful for soothing rosacea, eczema, acne, and even scars.

I’ve also found that using my mask has helped even out my skin tone. Years of sun exposure had left me with a few dark spots and uneven patches, but regular use of my mask helped fade those over time. One of the things I love most about red light therapy is that it works gradually, naturally, and consistently. It doesn’t shock the skin or cause irritation; it simply encourages your body to do what it’s designed to do: heal itself.

For those who experience sensitivity, redness, or dryness (which can become more common with age), red light therapy can actually help strengthen the skin barrier, improving hydration and tolerance. The result is skin that not only looks better but also functions better, retaining moisture and protecting itself from environmental stressors.

THE IMPORTANCE OF TREATING THE NECK

One reason I chose a red light therapy mask with a neck shield is that the neck is often the most overlooked area in skincare. Yet, it’s one of the first places to show signs of aging. The skin on the neck is thinner and has fewer oil glands, which means it can lose elasticity faster. By extending my red light therapy treatments to this area, I’ve noticed a smoother, tighter appearance and fewer creases.

So many people focus on their face but forget about their neck and chest, which can create a noticeable contrast. Treating both ensures a more even, youthful appearance overall. I often tell my friends that investing in a mask with a neck shield was one of the best skincare decisions I’ve ever made.

A NATURAL, NON-INVASIVE SOLUTION

What I appreciate most about red light therapy is that it’s gentle and non-invasive. There are no chemicals, no needles, and no downtime. You simply wear the mask, relax, and let the light do the work. It’s perfect for those who want real results without the risks or recovery associated with cosmetic procedures.

Many dermatologists now recommend red light therapy as part of an anti-aging regimen because of its proven safety and effectiveness. Unlike UV light, red light doesn’t cause damage or increase the risk of skin cancer. It’s completely safe when used correctly, making it an excellent option for long-term use.

CONSISTENCY IS KEY

As with any wellness practice, consistency makes all the difference. I use my red light therapy mask three times a week, usually for about 15-20 minutes per session. Over time, those small regular sessions add up to big changes. Think of it as exercise for your skin. You wouldn’t go to the gym once and expect instant results, right? The same principle applies here.

Creating a routine helps your skin maintain its new, healthy rhythm of renewal. I pair my sessions with other simple habits like drinking plenty of water, eating antioxidant-rich foods, and getting enough sleep. It’s a holistic approach that keeps me feeling and looking my best.

BOOSTING MOOD AND WELLBEING

There’s another benefit I didn’t expect when I first started, and that’s how it makes me feel. The warm glow of the red light is soothing and relaxing. It’s like a mini meditation session. As I sit quietly with my mask on, I often breathe deeply or listen to calm music. Those few minutes of stillness are therapeutic for the mind as well as the skin.

Red light therapy may also have a positive effect on mood. Some people say it helps them sleep better, boosts energy levels, and even provides relief from seasonal blues. It’s a gentle reminder that true beauty is holistic because when you feel good, it shows.

WHY IT’S WORTH IT

Although some people are hesitant to invest in a red light therapy mask due to the upfront cost, I view it as a worthwhile investment in myself. Unlike serums or creams that run out, a good-quality mask lasts for years. It’s a one-time purchase that provides ongoing benefits.

When I think about how much time and money people spend chasing quick fixes, expensive creams, or invasive procedures, I realize how cost-effective and sustainable this approach truly is. The results speak for themselves. My skin is smoother, my neck looks firmer, and my overall complexion glows with health.

A POWERFUL TOOL FOR HEALTHY AGING

As we age, our focus often shifts from looking young to feeling vibrant and strong. But the two are deeply connected. When your skin is healthy, you feel more confident. When you feel more confident, you carry yourself differently, with grace, joy, and energy.

Red light therapy supports that connection beautifully. It’s a way to nurture yourself from the outside in and the inside out. Whether you’re in your 40s, 60s, or 70s like me, it’s never too late to start taking care of your skin in a way that honors your body’s natural wisdom.

I often say, “You can’t control time, but you can absolutely influence how you age”. Red light therapy is one of the tools that allows me to do that.

THE BOTTOM LINE

If you’re searching for a natural, effective, and empowering way to care for your skin, red light therapy deserves a place in your routine. It’s more than just beauty; it’s about health, vitality, and self-care.

At 70, I can honestly say my skin feels better than it did in my 50s. I attribute this to consistency, mindfulness, and my red light therapy mask with its neck shield, which ensures every part of me gets the same loving care. I use it three times a week, and each session reminds me that age is just a number when you take care of yourself.

Your skin is your story. It reflects the life you’ve lived, the strength you’ve shown, and the love you’ve given yourself. Red light therapy simply helps that story shine a little brighter.

From Commercial Diving to Hyperbaric Health SCOTT AADAL’S JOURNEY TO OXYGEN WELLNESS

Scott Aadal, a lifelong entrepreneur with a technical background spanning telecom, marketing, and commercial diving, has channeled a personal health crisis into a mission to revolutionize hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). Through his company, Hyperbaric Health Int’l, Aadal is combining advanced technology with comprehensive training to make mild HBOT (mHBOT) a safer, more comfortable, and standardized therapeutic option for a range of conditions, from neurological disorders to post-surgical recovery.

Aadal’s path to wellness innovation is rooted in the deep sea, where he first encountered hyperbaric technology.

From Deep-Sea Dives to Deep Healing

The ocean defined Aadal’s early life. As a young man, his interest in the sea led him to the commercial diving industry.

“As a kid, I was fascinated by the ocean,” Aadal said.

This passion led him to a small business, “Scuba Scott,” which grew through his teens and twenties. The work, however, was physically taxing.

“I got tired of getting wet and cold, to be honest with you,” he recalled.

Following his diving career, Aadal transitioned his technical prowess into the corporate world, founding a telecom business that grew to nearly 300 employees before he sold it in 2002. He later founded and ran a successful marketing agency for more than 20 years. Despite only having a high school education, Aadal considers himself primarily self-taught, possessing over 35 technical certificates.

His pivot into healthcare came unexpectedly. After a routine medical procedure, Aadal became extremely ill, enduring multiple trips to the emergency room without improvement. It was a call to his past that provided a new direction.

“I reached out to an old diving colleague, and he said to me, ‘We used hyperbaric oxygen therapy when we were younger to disperse the excess nitrogen in our bloodstream,’” Aadal explained.

He was familiar with the “cold, wet, steel can type environment” of traditional decompression chambers, but began to investigate mild HBOT for its healing potential.

Aadal’s core belief is that his role is to simplify complex systems and provide the necessary tools for professionals.

“I believe in being the bridge,” he said.

After successfully treating his own condition, he obtained certifications as a hyperbaric oxygen technician, operator, and safety director, deciding he had to share this healing modality with the world.

Redefining Recovery: The Science and Safety of mHBOT

Modern mHBOT involves breathing highly concentrated oxygen (up to 97%) inside a chamber pressurized to a mild level, typically 1.5 to 2.0 atmospheres absolute (ATA). This pressure, equivalent to being 16 to 33 feet underwater, allows oxygen to dissolve directly into the body’s blood plasma, reaching tissues and bone that red blood cells normally cannot.

Aadal outlined the comprehensive benefits of this process, noting that the body is able to heal 30% to 50% faster. He specified that HBOT has six primary physiological effects:

» Vasoconstriction: Reduces swelling, edema, and inflammation.

» Neovascularization: Promotes collagen production and the formation of new capillaries, aiding in anti-aging.

» Metabolism: Increases the body’s metabolic rate.

» Antimicrobial: Kills anaerobic bacteria and harmful organisms.

» Tissue Repair: Promotes oxygen delivery to areas with limited blood flow, aiding recovery of tendons, bones, and discs.

» Neuroregeneration: Regrows damaged parts of the nervous system, addressing conditions like neuropathy, PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

To make the therapy more widely accessible and safe, Hyperbaric Health Int’l developed its

own line of chambers, including the flagship OxyEdge™ models, which are manufactured in ISO 13485-certified factories to meet strict US mechanical engineering and safety standards (ASME).

Safety was a primary design focus for Aadal and the OxyEdge™ engineering team. Traditional medical-grade hyperbaric chambers operate using 100% oxygen environments—an approach that requires strict hospital-level fire safety controls. OxyEdge™ systems eliminate that risk by design.

“The chamber is pressurized with purified air, posing no greater risk than the air you’re breathing right now,” Aadal explained. “Clients receive supplemental oxygen through a mask or nasal cannula, allowing the chamber atmosphere to remain non-flammable. That’s a fundamental safety advantage—and one of the defining distinctions between traditional highpressure medical systems and modern mild hyperbaric technology.”

The new chambers are also built for comfort, a dramatic departure from the bare-metal cans Aadal once knew. Models like the Quantum, Orbit, and Orion Series feature power recliners, heating and cooling, and allow clients to bring electronics, like laptops and cellphones, inside.

The Business of Wellness and a Unified Future

Scott Aadal’s vision extends beyond simply manufacturing advanced equipment; he is actively working to shape the entire hyperbaric wellness sector into a standardized, accessible, and highgrowth industry. The financial projections for the space are a key driver of this effort, painting a picture of dramatic expansion fueled by increasing public and professional awareness of the therapy’s potential.

“I see significant growth,” Aadal stated, citing massive expected market expansion. Recent industry estimates place the global health and wellness market at roughly $6.3 trillion in 2023— larger than the green economy, IT, or sports—and project it to reach approximately $9 trillion by 2028. In the U.S., the health and wellness sector was estimated at ~$2.21 trillion in 2024 and forecast to reach ~$3.70 trillion by 2034 (≈5.4% CAGR).

This explosive growth means a rush of new clinics and providers will enter the space, creating a critical need for expertise, quality equipment, and, most importantly, safety.

A core pillar of Hyperbaric Health Int’l is the commitment to standardization and education. Aadal recognized that the mHBOT industry lacked a unified, easily accessible training system, which he views as a critical safety gap. To address this, he created a comprehensive online training and certification program for medical staff, which covers everything from chamber operation and client screening to emergency protocols. The aim is to ensure consistent, safe practices across all clinics that adopt his technology.

“Nobody really has a unified online approach to teaching mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy,” Aadal noted. “We wanted to create a program for everybody, so patients remain safe and receive effective mHBOT therapy treatments.”

This emphasis on training is crucial for mitigating risks such as barotrauma (ear injury) and for handling pre-existing client conditions—a critical concern given that, in an emergency, it can take up to 12 minutes to depressurize a chamber safely.

For doctors, chiropractors, and clinic owners, the business case for integrating Hyperbaric Health Intl’s chambers is compelling. The company offers turnkey clinic programs to simplify the process of integration, helping professionals easily add mHBOT to existing practices such as pain management, cosmetic dentistry, sports rehabilitation, or general wellness centers. The profitability of the chambers is a significant selling point, with the potential for the equipment to pay for itself in just a few months, given the high demand. Furthermore, Hyperbaric Health Int’l offers an industry-leading five-year parts warranty, a testament to the durable, medicalgrade components used in its manufacturing, ensuring peace of mind for its commercial clients.

Whether it’s reducing recovery time after an orthopedic injury, accelerating the healing of jawbone for a dental implant, or helping first responders cope with PTSD, Aadal views hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a vital, non-pharmaceutical adjunct to a wide array of existing medical treatments, rather than a standalone cure-all. This collaborative approach maximizes patient outcomes and reduces the referring doctor’s liability.

Conclusion

By synthesizing his unique background in technical business, commercial diving, and personal wellness, Scott Aadal has positioned Hyperbaric Health Int’l not just as an equipment seller but as a driving force in industry modernization.

His company is simultaneously advancing chamber technology, making it safer and more comfortable, while establishing the educational framework necessary for responsible expansion. Aadal remains dedicated to his purpose of elevating patient care across the country.

“My goal is to be that bridge, to be able to bring them a technology that they can use to increase the advocacy of their practice and patient outcomes,” Aadal concluded, defining his role as a facilitator committed to bringing cutting-edge, safe, oxygen-based healing into mainstream medicine.

THE DOCTORS AT GREEN MARK BIOMEDICAL

EMPOWERING REGENERATIVE DENTISTRY FOR THE MODERN WORLD

Your mouth is not Las Vegas - what happens there doesn’t stay there!

Today, it is crystal clear that oral health is linked directly to overall systemic health. Dentistry, therefore, has a huge opportunity to lead and positively impact the nation’s healthcare.

There are two primary diseases in dentistry: periodontal disease and caries disease (tooth decay). Few people know that dental caries is the world’s most prevalent chronic disease. The challenge is that, when found late, decay leads to cavities and a restorative “tooth death spiral”.

Dental clinics rely heavily on X-ray radiographs, but these can contribute to the problem. Every dental professional knows that even a slight shadow on a radiograph signals that the decay is already more advanced. Radiographs are also less effective at detecting decay on occlusal (biting) surfaces, where 65% of cavities occur. By the time a shadow appears, the predominant recommendation is surgical treatment,

or left to Watch & Wait with an admonishment to “brush & floss better,” which then frequently still progresses to cavities, a Band-Aid fix even under the best conditions.

Dental sensitivity is also highly prevalent, affecting 74% of the population. Treatments wear off quickly, without addressing the root cause.

New AI tools are advancing the detection of interproximal decay (in between teeth), but this is unfortunately leading to invasive overtreatment. Dentistry simply can’t drill itself out of the worldwide caries prevalence problem. Let’s be honest, the profession has been doing that since 3,000 BC! Caries impacts more than 96% of Americans, yet many people dread dental check-ups due to the often invasive and uncomfortable nature of traditional treatments.

There is a better way for the modern dental clinic, by adopting a practice model that excites both dentists and their patients.

With hundreds of millions of Americans skipping dental visits, GreenMark believes this approach offers the opportunity for dental practices to thrive while improving public health.

MEET THE DOCTORS

Meet Dr. Steven Bloembergen, PhD, Chairman and CEO, and founder of GreenMark, Dr. Nathan Jones, MSc, PhD, VP Technology, and Dr. Wendy Bloembergen, MD, MS, FRCP(C), VP Clinical Affairs.

Dr. Steven Bloembergen founded GreenMark Biomedical Inc. in Michigan in 2016 after several other successful ventures. He founded EcoSynthetix Inc. in Lansing, MI, in 1996, a company that has since grown into a global corporation. He and his team built manufacturing capacity for starch nanoparticles of well over 200 million lbs per year at production sites in the U.S. and Europe for high-volume packaging. The company held its initial public offering (IPO) in August 2011 (TSX: ECO.TO) and was Canada’s largest IPO in the Cleantech sector, raising over $100 million on the TSX.

Steven is the inventor of over 25 patent families related to biomaterials. In partnership with the University of Michigan (U-M), GreenMark expanded upon this proprietary technology by developing and applying unique processes to create a range of targeted diagnostic and treatment products.

At U-M, Dr. Nathan Jones conducted his PhD research based on EcoSynthetix’ nanotechnology, and Steven served as the external thesis committee member for his PhD program, which focused on medical and dental applications of the bioresorbable nanoparticle technology that led to multiple dental product innovations. The two have been working together since 2009.

Upon receiving his PhD degree, Nathan

joined GreenMark to develop this globally patented dental technology further and now serves as Vice President Technology.

Steven’s spouse, Dr. Wendy Bloembergen, MD, MS, Vice President Clinical Affairs, is a physician who specialized in Nephrology and subsequently obtained a degree in Clinical Research Design & Statistical Analysis from U-M. She has provided a medical “presence,” contributing to clinicallyrelated functions including product market fit, product development targets, competition technology assessment, regulatory, clinical study protocols, safety oversight, reimbursement, and clinical publication strategy.

Prior to GreenMark, Wendy consulted for a VC firm as a medical analyst. Before this, she maintained an academic position at U-M, and before that, completed her medical internship in Canada’s first Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics with Dr. David Sackett and Dr. Gordon Guyatt, professors of epidemiology, biostatistics, and medicine. Dr. Sackett is the celebrated father of evidence-based medicine, which, after 30 years, is beginning to gain momentum in dentistry.

The combination of their diverse backgrounds and extensive experience created a powerful talent pool, crucial for addressing the global oral health crisis. They also credit their expert advisors and collaborators for their contributions.

THE PERFECT STORM

Dental cavities result from acid produced by plaque bacteria dissolving tooth enamel. Bacteria in the mouth feed on dietary sugars, producing acids that cause demineralization of the enamel. Although the enamel surface of the early lesion remains intact longer due to fluoride exposure, the enamel subsurface gradually becomes increasingly porous until it collapses to form a hole or cavity. As these cavities deepen,

bacteria and acid reach the softer dentin and eventually the inner pulp, leading to inflammation, nerve damage, pain, and potentially a serious tooth infection.

GreenMark’s CrystLCare™ Biorestorative, Fluoride-Free product was designed for targeted remineralization of earlystage caries lesions in enamel. It also works exceptionally well for sensitivity treatment. GreenMark, they note, has the only bioavailable and targeted delivery of calcium & phosphate ions, which reform enamel minerals in the subsurface of teeth exactly where needed.

GreenMark Biomedical is revolutionizing dental care with innovative, patient-friendly solutions designed to transform the dental experience.¹ Biomimetics, targeted delivery, and noninvasive care are at the core of its products, making painless natural repair possible.

Steven explained, “Once there’s a hole in the tooth, it’s too late. We’re all about early diagnosis and preventive & regenerative treatment before a cavity forms.”

The GreenMark technology is backed by robust science, patented globally, and published in several leading peerreviewed journals. Using tiny (sub-micron) bioresorbable starch particles, GreenMark’s platform is designed and proven to target the subsurface of teeth to restore enamel mineral. The technology is built on robust science, powered by three additional NIH grants this year. The work has been supported from 2018 to 2025 by $4.0 million in grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), via their NIDCR dental division and the MPWRM Regenerative Medicine Resource Center at U-M, Pittsburgh McGowan, and Wyss at Harvard University dental schools.² The center collaborates closely with dental schools at the University of Southern California, University of California LA/SF/Davis/Berkeley institutions, and Stanford University.

Their lightbulb idea (Fig. 1) was to design a magnet-like attraction to deliver bioavailable enamel minerals into the complex porous subsurface of caries lesions. To explain this, Fig. 2 shows a cross-section of an early caries lesion, viewed under polarized light. Under these conditions, dense areas within the tooth show up as light blue, while more porous tooth structures show up as a darker shade, and hence dentin shows up purple, and an early-stage caries lesion as a brownish-black. While the surface remains intact, tiny micropores in the enamel surface allow acid from sugary foods to seep in.

Fig. 1: Tiny Targeted Starch Particles to Address Universal Problems in Dentistry
Fig. 2: Treatment of Early-Stage Caries

GreenMark’s research with its U-M collaborators proved that early-stage caries leaves behind negative charges throughout the interior of the early white spot lesion. Therefore, they placed the opposite positive charges on their starch particles and attached a fluorescent dye so the lesions illuminated like a Christmas tree. Clinical validation for the fluorescent caries detection product, LumiCare™ Caries Detection Rinse, was published in BDJ Open a Nature journal, showing very high accuracy and proving the targeting mechanism as highly effective. Based on the same targeting concept, they designed their CrystLCare™ Biorestorative product to remineralize the subsurface.

Most toothpaste products contain fluoride along with various inert calcium-based minerals, which can be viewed as tiny ‘insoluble rocks’ that are not bioavailable and merely help clean and polish tooth surfaces. Yet, these products often tout ‘remineralization’ and ‘strengthening of enamel’, which Steven describes as “absolute baloney,” in other words: “great on marketing but thin on science”.

Natural enamel neither contains nor needs fluoride, and it is

well known that conventional soluble fluoride products, like sodium and stannous fluoride, merely seal the extreme upper surface layer of tooth enamel without repairing the dominant sub-surface lesion.

In its NIH-funded research collaboration with U-M, GreenMark scientists discovered this is because early-stage caries lesions are negatively charged (Fig. 1 & 2), and therefore negatively charged fluoride and phosphate ions are repelled. This then leaves the early caries lesion in the enamel at continued risk of progression and cavitation (Fig. 3, top).

To remineralize enamel, conventional fluoride products rely on calcium and phosphate from saliva, in which the level of soluble, bioavailable calcium and phosphate ions is extremely low. This is especially true in people with active caries, Xerostomia (dry mouth), or poor oral hygiene.

Similar to the saying ‘We can’t squeeze water from a rock!’, Steven commented, “We can’t squeeze bioactive mineral ions from the insoluble minerals contained in toothpaste products.”

In contrast, GreenMark’s positively charged starch particles are attracted like a magnet with electrostatic action into the negative lesion sub-surface, where they are dissolved by natural amylase enzymes in saliva. They then release bioavailable calcium and phosphate mineral ions to repair

from the inside, forming hydroxyapatite in the tooth subsurface, and filling the lesion to result in a superior outcome (Fig. 3, bottom).

Third-party data that proves this is published in the Journal of

the American Dental Association, JADA Foundational Science.³

Nathan found a way to embed their positive mineral-loaded starch particles into dissolvable dental strips (Fig. 4). They are incredibly easy to apply by placing them onto moist teeth, where they instantly adhere. They can also be placed in a mouth tray.

The strips are affordably priced for widespread adoption. One or more strips can be demonstrated by the dentist or hygienist

in-office, whereafter patients may then purchase one or more 14-dose packages for continued home use. Other forms of the product, such as toothpaste tablets, are under development to become available early next year.

In addition to sales via dental distributors, direct-to-consumer sales via Amazon outpace the dental market as people take wellness into their own hands. Please visit www.greenmark. bio for more information.⁴

Clinical applications include a no-drill treatment of early tooth decay with tremendous oral health and cost benefits, as well as an effective treatment of dental sensitivity. At this stage, after years of R&D and manufacturing scale-up, GreenMark is now focused on the commercialization of its caries detection and treatment products, and is actively raising investment to

commercialize its products in the U.S., followed by Canada, Europe, South America, and Asia.

CHAMPIONS CELLULAR HEALTH WITH CUTTINGEDGE WELLNESS SOLUTIONS AT THE CELL BAR LISA GREENE

In the complex landscape of health and wellness, where quick fixes often overshadow root causes, Lisa Greene is forging a path focused on profound, cellular-level restoration. As an entrepreneur whose career has spanned from insurance to interior design, and from the music industry to publishing, Greene’s trajectory has been anything but conventional. It’s a journey she describes as “quite convoluted”, but ultimately and organically has led her to her current passion: pioneering advanced wellness solutions in the U.S.

Lisa Greene is now dedicated to introducing cutting-edge, non-invasive therapies that aim to bridge the gap between Western and Eastern medicine, focusing on prevention and supporting the body’s innate ability to heal.

AN UNEXPECTED PATH TO WELLNESS

Greene’s unique professional history began in insurance and later blossomed in corporate interior design, where she became a top account executive and eventually a partner in her own firm. A surprising detour into the music industry followed, sparked by a challenge from a close friend. She represented artists, landed a deal with Sony Records, and never looked back at interior design.

The real pivot, however, came after the tragedy of 9/11 severely impacted the advertising revenue for the women’s lifestyle magazine she had acquired. Seeking a more stable, creative venture, she leveraged her background and

experience to launch her own luxury hair extension line. This decision was the true genesis of her wellness mission.

“I was able to pitch the top provider in the city,” Greene recalled, referencing Ray’s Beauty Supply, a major supplier to Broadway and celebrity hairstylists. “They actually bought in and made me their exclusive hair supplier.”

This success exposed her to clients who were losing their hair due to cancer and chemotherapy. The lack of privacy and dignity in seeking hair replacements deeply affected her.

“It really touched my heart that these individuals had to come to public places, trying to feel like themselves again, without much privacy,” Greene explained.

This led her to open Luxury Hair Plus (LHP) on 57th and Sixth Avenue in New York, a 24-hour private space designed to serve high-profile media clients and, more importantly, the hair-loss audience. Greene partnered with organizations like Gilda’s Club, a cancer nonprofit, to cater to newly diagnosed patients. She would take images of clients’ existing hair, give them a short pixie cut to prepare for hair loss, and use their own harvested hair to create custom-designed wigs.

“It was such a high to see how these clients responded,” Greene said.

The intimate nature of her work meant hearing her clients’ medical stories and struggles. This exposure led her to build international relationships focused on alternative solutions to support patients undergoing harsh treatments.

“That was my gateway to where I am today,” she explained. “When you see how people respond to that kind of attention, it just ignites you.”

THE POWER OF CELLULAR HEALTH: INTRODUCING THE CELL BAR

Greene’s focus sharpened to cellular health after she realized that conventional medicine often lacks solutions for mitigating the severe side effects of treatments like chemotherapy.

“Doctors often can’t prepare patients for those experiences beyond saying ‘brace yourself,’ simply because they don’t have the exposure to non-medical support options. It’s not their fault; it’s just outside their scope,” she noted.

This realization led to the “plus” in LHP evolving into wellness, with Greene now focusing 80% of her efforts on the new solutions. Her core philosophy is rooted in cellular health, which is the foundation of her brand, The Cell Bar.

“The punch line is cellular health. It’s all about your cells,” Greene affirmed. “Our approach doesn’t just put a bandage over the problem. That’s what most doctors these days are trained to do. We strive to identify the root cause of the pain, so you have a better chance of stopping the progression of underlying problems and further cellular deterioration. There’s a big difference between simply treating a symptom and treating the cause, like we do at the Cell Bar.”

The Cell Bar’s forward solution is Hydrogen Restoration Therapy, which can be administered through inhalation, through the ears or eyes, or by ingesting energized hydrogen water. The technology, sourced from Malaysia, goes beyond simple hydrogen.

The most popular product related to cellular hydration is The Quantum Energy Hydrogen Water Galaxy, a countertop unit that connects to a home’s cold-water supply. It first strips the water of impurities, then infuses it with hydrogen, and finally energizes it with three frequencies: MRET (Molecular Resonance Effect Technology), Quantum Energy, and Terahertz Waves.

“These three frequencies combined greatly affect your cellular turnover.”Your body is constantly renewing itself.” Greene explained. “With each cycle, your old cells are replaced by healthier ones.”

For cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, Greene explained that the water’s role is critical.

“It supports the chemotherapy’s action while helping safeguard the body’s healthy cells from unnecessary damage,” she said.

Greene shared the story of her first client with stage four incurable cancer, who was initially skeptical about the $4,000 treatment protocol.

“I convinced her to try it by explaining, ‘You don’t need to ask your doctor if it’s safe to drink water. This therapy is just as gentle—yet far more powerful. Proper cellular hydration is key.’”

The client agreed to a two-week trial. After that period, she called Greene back.

“Sign me up,” Greene’s client said. “It’s the first time in more than two years I’ve felt this good after chemotherapy.”

Two years later, the client’s life has been transformed.

NAVIGATING THE WELLNESS MARKET: DILIGENCE AND AUTHENTICITY

With the rising popularity of wellness, Greene has seen hydrogen become a huge trend. She cautioned that this rise has also created a market of cheaper, less effective, and potentially unsafe knockoffs.

“The danger of cheap hydrogen bottle knockoffs is that if the mechanisms are not of a certain quality, you can end up drinking ozone. That can be detrimental to your health,” Greene warned.

She advised consumers to look beyond the price and do their due diligence: “Look into the company and understand how that product came to be.”

Greene’s specific bottle includes multiple energy components. It was introduced to her by a doctor in Malaysia, who uses it in a practice focused on healing the terminally ill. Unlike cheaper hydrogen-only bottles, Greene’s units are designed for durability and are FDA-registered as a medical device.

BRINGING NEXT-GENERATION THERAPIES TO THE U.S.

Greene’s dedication and proven results recently earned her a nomination for an honorary doctorate degree from one of her collaborating doctors abroad. During a trip to Singapore for the subsequent convocation, she arranged to meet with other prominent, cutting-edge doctors.

This networking led to a new, significant collaboration with Professor Dr. Bipul Nazir, a Harvard-trained physician who pioneered a modality called REGENactive Therapy.

“Our goal is to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medicine so that we get the best of both worlds and to support healing, as opposed to just putting a bandage on illness,” Greene said.

Dr. Bipul’s therapy is a body reset based on stimulating the Vagus nerve, a trend Greene believes is “here to stay.” The therapy aims to unblock or restore impaired lymphatic flow, reducing inflammation and cellular damage and effectively rejuvenating the body.

Greene has secured a partnership to bring this modality to the U.S. or create medical tourism packages to Singapore, at a fraction of the cost for her clients. She is currently putting together the packages and expects to have the therapy available in the U.S. before the end of the year or, at

the latest, the beginning of next year.

Greene continues to support organizations and medical spas seeking to adopt advanced therapies but remains dedicated to education through selective, targeted events rather than traditional industry conventions.

“The goal is to educate people and create an environment where they can fully focus on this healing modality,” Greene said, emphasizing that a fragmented approach dilutes both the message and the overall benefits.

Ultimately, Greene’s mission is to empower people with knowledge and options.

“It’s really about helping people understand the importance of prevention—beyond diet and exercise— before illness strikes, and showing that even after a condition develops, advanced cellular health solutions are available. Our approach honors the body’s innate ability to heal itself,” she concluded.

Lisa Greene’s work at The Cell Bar is more than wellness—it’s a movement toward true healing at the cellular level.

AGELESS TIMELESS AND

A BODY BUILT TO LAST

DR. NICHOLAS DINUBILE ON FRAMEWORK, FITNESS, AND THE FUTURE OF HEALTHY AGING

Some careers begin with a degree. Others, with a single defining moment. For Dr. Nicholas A. DiNubile, the journey toward becoming one of the most recognized orthopedic surgeons in the world began when he was just ten years old. His parents had given him a set of weights, not knowing that the clinking of those iron plates in the family home would set the rhythm of his life.

“I got addicted to working out right away,” he recalled. “Every day I was lifting, testing my body, and trying to get stronger.”

It was the early 1960s. Fitness culture was still a niche pursuit, a far cry from the billion-dollar industry it would later become. Gyms were barebones, mostly filled with athletes and bodybuilders. Yet, the young DiNubile was undeterred. He spent hours training, not just for muscle, but for mastery. Those formative years instilled in him a conviction that

strength, movement, and discipline weren’t hobbies—they were essential to living well.

By the time he entered medical school, DiNubile was set on becoming a surgeon. At first, his interest leaned toward hand surgery, a specialty requiring delicate precision. But fate intervened when he met Dr. Joe Torg, a pioneer in sports medicine. Dr. Torg opened his eyes to a field that merged his two passions: athletics and healing.

At the time, sports medicine was still in its infancy. Athletic trainers were rare, and professional sports teams didn’t yet have the deep medical support systems we take for granted today. Dr. Torg’s influence showed the young doctor how critical it was to treat not just the injury, but the athlete behind it.

“Meeting Dr. Torg was a turning point,” DiNubile reflected. “He showed me that you could help athletes get back to doing what they loved, and that resonated deeply with me.”

Soon, DiNubile’s world expanded beyond hospital corridors. Through his work, he crossed paths with Joe Weider, the legendary fitness publisher, and Dr. Bob Goldman, a key figure in sports medicine. Both men introduced him to Arnold Schwarzenegger, a then-rising star in bodybuilding and Hollywood. Those relationships underscored something he already felt in his bones: medicine and fitness weren’t separate worlds. They were intertwined, and he was determined to bridge the gap between them.

The Birth of FrameWork

By the 1990s, Dr. DiNubile had built a thriving career. He had joined the Philadelphia 76ers as an orthopedic consultant, worked with the Pennsylvania Ballet, and treated countless weekend warriors. Still, whether in NBA locker rooms or local gyms, he kept hearing the same questions from people eager to stay fit but battling nagging injuries.

“They’d stop me and ask, ‘Doc, what should I do about my knee?’ or ‘How do I keep training with back pain?’ I realized people needed a guide that went beyond traditional workouts,” he explained.

That realization became FrameWork: Your 7-Step Program for Healthy Muscles, Bones, and Joints. The book flipped the script on fitness. Instead of focusing solely on heart health or aesthetics, it emphasized durability, ensuring the body’s frame could withstand the test of time.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, in his foreword, praised the book for its vision: “Nick shows us that the ultimate goal of fitness is not just looking good or being strong—it’s building a body that can last a lifetime.”

The message was revolutionary. FrameWork introduced readers to the concept of “weak links,” the body’s most vulnerable points, like knees, shoulders, or the spine. It taught people how to identify those areas, protect them, and continue training safely. Perhaps most importantly, it reassured readers that movement was always possible.

“Motion is lotion,” DiNubile often says. “Even if you have injuries, you can work around them. Stopping completely is the worst thing you can do.”

From the Ballet Barre to the Basketball Court

What makes DiNubile’s perspective unique is the sheer range of people he’s cared for. In one week, he might treat a Philadelphia 76ers player nursing a knee sprain, a Pennsylvania Ballet dancer recovering from stress fractures, and a retiree who simply wanted to walk pain-free again.

“The fascinating thing,” he said, “is that the principles are the same. Whether you’re a world-class athlete or someone who just wants to garden without back pain, it’s about protecting your weak links and building durability.”

Celebrities like William Hurt and Billy Crystal have also turned to him for guidance. While their lives differ dramatically from those of his everyday patients, their desires don’t: all want to keep moving, performing, and living fully.

Exercise as Medicine

Long before the medical community embraced the phrase, DiNubile was telling anyone who would listen: exercise is medicine. In the late 1970s, he began publicly advocating for exercise as a therapeutic tool, not an afterthought.

That conviction propelled him to the national stage. As Special Advisor to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports under President George H.W. Bush, with Arnold Schwarzenegger as chairman, he worked to bring fitness to the forefront of policy discussions. Later, under President George W. Bush, he contributed to healthcare reform efforts and even speechwriting.

However, those experiences also highlighted the gaps. “We spend only about two percent of healthcare dollars on prevention,” DiNubile lamented. “We have more health information than ever, yet as a nation, we aren’t healthier. Real change comes from behavior, what I call ‘personal healthcare reform.’”

The Promise of Healthy Aging

For over a decade, DiNubile served as Vice President of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Yet, he resists the term “anti-aging.” To him, the goal isn’t to deny time, but to embrace it with strength.

“Longevity without durability isn’t success,” he insists. “It’s not enough to live longer; you must live stronger.”

In recent years, he’s been energized by advances in regenerative medicine. Once a dream, treatments like platelet-rich plasma (PRP), stem cells, and biologic scaffolds are now regenerating joints, tendons, and ligaments. These breakthroughs can postpone or even eliminate the need for major surgeries like joint replacements.

Still, DiNubile returns to his central philosophy: prevention is paramount. “Regenerative tools are incredible, but the best medicine will always be avoiding the problem in the first place. Exercise, nutrition, mental health, those are the foundations of true longevity.”

One of his enduring contributions to the field is his concept of “3-D fitness.” Strength alone is not enough; flexibility and cardiovascular conditioning must also be cultivated. “No single sport or workout covers everything,” he explained. “That’s why variety matters.”

Everyone has weak links, he said. Identifying and protecting them, whether through targeted exercises, modifications, or smarter routines, is the secret to staying active at any age.

It’s a philosophy embraced by personal trainers across the country, many of whom use FrameWork as part of their advanced certification.

“Trainers need to understand how to work with people who have injuries,” he said. “It’s not just about pushing harder; It’s about pushing smarter.”

A Legacy of Strength and Service

Dr. Nicholas DiNubile has been named one of America’s “Best Doctors” for more than two decades, has been honored as a U.S. News & World Report “Top Doctor,” and has been inducted into both the National Fitness Hall of Fame and

the Philadelphia Sports Medicine Hall of Fame. His voice has reached millions through platforms such as Good Morning America, The Today Show, CNN, NPR, The New York Times, and countless fitness magazines.

Though his legacy has been captured in titles and television spots, that isn’t where it truly resides. It lies in the countless patients who can still play tennis, dance, garden, or chase after grandchildren, because he helped them protect their frames.

As he looks toward the future, his message remains as urgent and inspiring as ever:

“It’s not enough to live longer—you must live stronger.” After more than 40 years in the operating room, DiNubile is preparing for retirement with what he called “mixed emotions.” He will miss daily patient care, but is eager for new chapters. His plans include returning to volunteer teaching at the University of Pennsylvania, where he hopes to finally see “Exercise as Medicine” and “Exercise Prescription” embedded in medical school curricula. He also envisions a new edition of FrameWork updated with the latest science, and perhaps, another foreword by Schwarzenegger.

And of course, there are the personal joys: more time with family, improving his tennis game, and savoring life’s moments outside the hospital walls.
