Scottish Rite Presidents Day Reunion Honors our Proud Masonic Heritage

The Ohio Masonic Home is Inviting You to Dinner Learn more about what your Masonic Home is doing, and enjoy a complimentary dinner

Perhaps nowhere are our Masonic ideals and beliefs better exemplified than through the work of the Ohio Masonic Home. Originally founded as an orphanage, today OMH is more than just a place, and the work of the Ohio Masonic Home is focused on the needs of our elder citizens, which, in a rapidly aging society, presents new and complex challenges. That’s why CEO Tom Stofac and his executive staff are hitting the road this spring to bring you updated information on what they’re doing to better serve the fraternity with a series of complimentary dinners for all Masons and their wives, with special focus on their Aging Resource Center and the network of Aging Services Representatives across Ohio. Come share how the Ohio Masonic Home is bringing the Masonic ideals to a variety of innovative and responsive solutions to the needs of our elderly – and helping you fulfil your Masonic obligation to care for those in need – all in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

In northwest Ohio, the meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Alexandria’s, 123 Crawford Street, Findlay. There is no charge and all our welcome, but reservations must be made by April 27th, and space is limited. For your reservation, call (888) 248-2664 or register online at www.omhnights.kintera.org.

By-Laws Change Made

A new By-Law change was made that anyone who is interested in running for an At-Large Seat on the Board of Trustees must submit in writing to the Scottish Rite office their intentions of running. Join Us at the Ball Game! It’s baseball season and once again the Shrine and Scottish Rite are joining together to have a wonderful event planned at the 5/3 Field on July 18th. There was snow on the ground, but spring was in the air!

You know that feeling you get when you’ve had all the winter you can take and you just can’t wait for the snow to go away and the flowers to start blooming? Well, the Ladies Auxillary had just the cure for that at their March luncheon, with guest speaker Eileen Creque of Creque Greenhouse getting everybody ready for spring planting. For information on this month’s meeting, see page 22.
