You should have a real passion for working in the NHS, be motivated and flexible as this role will require you to work a 24-hour shift pattern, which may include long days, long nights (12-hour shifts) weekends and bank holidays, plus travelling to various locations. If you have a good standard of education in maths and English, equivalent to a level 1 (GCSE D to G or above) and have your certificates, that’s great. Business Manager ‐ Safeguarding Adults Salary: Grade L. £41,591 to £44,624 We are seeking to appoint a Business Manager who will make major contributions to the development of the Safeguarding Adults Board in Gateshead. The post‐holder will build effective partnerships with all key stakeholders for Safeguarding Adults across Gateshead with the aim of supporting the Safeguarding Adults Board to have the capacity and capability of fulfilling its statutory duties and meeting national and local priorities. You will have knowledge of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Safeguarding Adult Policies and Procedures. You will have extensive knowledge of Local Government processes and procedures and risk management. You will hold a degree in a relevant subject area or demonstrable relevant experience. It is essential that you have experience of policy and strategy development implementation and review, performance management, managing substantial budgets, chairing complex meetings with a multi‐disciplinary context and excellent communication skills.
