THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS OF THIS FIRST PROJECT, FOUND THE PROCESS OF SKETCHING TO BE EXTREMELY VALUBALE TO MY OWN PERSONAL PROCESS. ENJOY
THE FLUIDITY YOU CAN ACHIEVE THROUGH THE SKETCHING PROCESSS, BUT I FOUND IT SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO MOVE FROM THE SKETCHING PROCESS TO ACTUALLY
ACHIEVING THE PHYSICAL STRUCTURE; WHETHER THIS WAS THROUGH 3D MODELING OR PHYSICAL MODELING, IT WAS QUITE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO ACHIEVE THE SAME INTERESTING QUALITY OF HAND SKETCHING.
IT WAS VERY REFRESHING SEEING HOW MUCH CAN ACHIEVE THROUGH HAND SKETCHING. THIS SEMESTER TAUGHT ME AM MUCH BETTER AT CREATING FORM AND FLUIDITY IN MY DESIGNS THAN WHAT I THOUGHT PREVIOUSLY.















































IN THAT OF STUDYING THIS PRECEDENT, GAINED A GREAT DEAL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE IMPORTANCES OF CREATING SPACES FOR THE PUBLIC THAT NOT ONLY SPEAK TO THE NORMAL LIBRARY NECESSITIES, BUT THAT ALSO AID THE COMMUNITY IN A UNIQUE FASHION. THE ARABIAN PUBLIC LIBRARY STRUCTURALLY PAYS RESPECT TO THE NATIVE GEOGRAPHICAL LANGUAGE THROUGH ITS ANGLES/SET IN WALLS. IN CREATING MY MODEL FOR THIS PRECEDENT, UTILIZED THE 3D PRINTER WHICH HELPED MUCH IN BEING ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE ANGLES WHILE ALSO UNDERSTANDING IT AS A SOLID MASS FORM.
DURING THIS PROJECT AS WELL, WAS ABLE TO PRACTICE MY RENDERING SKILLS WHICH FEEL/KNOW JUMPED FROM THE PREVIOUS PROJECT 1. THROUGH GUIDANCE AND PRACTICE OF RENDERING SOFTWARES, AM ABLE TO CREATE VISUALS THAT WASN’T ABLE TO BEFORE WHICH HAVE HELPED SO MUCH IN LEADING TO MY THIRD AND FINAL PROJECT. IN THIS, BEING ABLE TO HAVE MY VIEWERS UNDERSTAND WHERE THEY ARE IN MY PROJECT HAS BECOME MUCH EASIER TO ILLUSTRATE, MAKING MY PROJECTS AND STORY MORE LEGIBLE.









ONCE AGAIN, IN THE PROCESS OF THINKING AND VISUALIZING FORM FOR MY LIBRARY, I WORKED THROUGH SKETCHING AS A MEANS OF CREATING FLUID FORM. REALLY ENJOY THE USE OF COLORS AND MESSING WITH LINE WEIGHTS TO PLAY AROUND WITH SEEING IDEAS IN DIFFERENT WAYS. OVERALL, WANT TO CONTINUE UTILIZING SKETCHING AS A TOOL TO PROCESS MY WORK; BLENDING PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL PROCESSES TOGETEHER.
