Matamata College Centenary a Huge Success

tion Lynette has first hand experience of Matamata College as a student and parent. Lynette also served on our Board of Trustees, including two terms as Board Chair. Lynette’s contribution to our school has been immense. It is down to her leadership and commitment that the Centenary celebration became a reality and I thank her.

Working closely with her committee and event coordinator, Darlene Thomas from Little Red Marketing, the team can now draw a breath, reflect, and be very proud of a job well done.

Lynette Stanley Speaks at Centenary Opening A big thank you to the Chair of our Centenary Committee, the fabulous Lynette Stanley, who together with Event Co-ordinator Darlene Thomas and their amazing committee worked with diligence, flair and enthusiasm, giving up so much of their time and energy to pull this Centenary celebration together. Thanks to their collective efforts this truly was a celebration to remember. Thanks also to the many community volunteers who gave up their time to contribute to this very successful event. Local service groups Kiwanis, Lions, Community Patrol, Rotary and individuals all pitched in, going above and beyond in support of the school.
