Since 2007 she has also been a part time studio teacher at Portsmouth University and AUCB. Ralph Parker, Price & Myers A practicing architect, Ralph has over 10 years’ experience of architectural design and construction in the UK, New Zealand and China. Between 2000 and 2004 he worked for Marks Barfield Architects, during which time he designed and built The Spiral Café in Birmingham, which won over 10 plaudits including an RIBA award, and was long listed for the Stirling Prize. Ralph has also worked part-time in Price & Myers Structural engineers’ Geometrics group, specialising in the design and construction of complex structures.

Richard Partington, Richards Partington Architects Co-founder and director of Richards Partington Architects, a multi-disciplinary practice working in housing, urbanism and regeneration with expertise in low-energy design, urban planning and architecture. Recent work includes the Derwenthorpe project in York for the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust; a headquarters and housing centre for newly formed Greenfields Community Housing; and a series of best practice guides for the NHBC Foundation. Richard is also a sustainability expert to the Ministerial Advisory Group and a Design Council CABE enabler. He has also written articles for RIBA, CIBSE and Architect's Journals. Jonathan Pye, BDP Jonathan is a Chartered Engineer and has worked for BDP for 10 years. As Civil and Structural Engineer Director, he co-manages the civil and structural engineering group within BDP’s Northern Region, and has directorial responsibility across the practice for maintaining and developing design excellence within the civil and structural engineering professions.

Wendy Perring, PAD Studio Wendy trained at Edinburgh University, and worked with Allies and Morrison Architects and Tim Ronalds Architects before setting up PAD Studio, a small practice of talented designers.

He has also helped deliver a number of projects which have successfully attained BREEAM “excellent” status, including BDP’s own studios at Piccadilly Basin in Manchester, UK.

She has experience leading varied high profile domestic, arts & education projects including visual arts, dance & music / performance venues. She was Scottish Young Architect of the Year winner in 1995.
