Every two months, we release a digital magazine curated from scratch by our talented team of editors, stylists, photographers, and journalists. In between issues, you can explore more of our journalists’ content on our website and our videographers’ work on our Youtube channel. From cozy to chic and the street to the classroom, TigerTrends shows how fashion, art, and lifestyle choices inspire Princeton students to feel their best. Everyone can fashion. We just put it in a book.

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR IN CHIEF

Dear Readers, I hope that you have all been able to take this Winter Break to relax and enjoy some space away from the hustle and bustle of classes. This time of year is always a sprint to the finish, and I am so proud of what all of our members were able to accomplish at the end of this tumultuous year. This month’s edition takes inspiration from everything around us; literally. Rather than just sitting observant of our surroundings, we wanted to fully immerse ourselves in the places we are so fortunate to occupy, and create immersive fashion experiences. Inspired by the artistic concept of site specific sculpture, this lookbook aims to blur the boundaries between foreground and background completely. This lookbook transformed the way I take in Princeton’s campus, and I hope that it will inspire you to do the same. This edition more than ever, I want to especially thank TigerTrends' talented, flexible, and remarkable editing team. Especially to our Creative Director, April Dong, I am so humbled by your ability to breathe life into these photo spreads, and your editing team has produced nothing but stellar work. The entire TigerTrends team pulled off the incredible, getting this edition to print despite both academic and pandemic constraints.

As we prepare to leave 2021, I am once again reminded of the vast potential that 2022 holds. Especially after the last two years, it is difficult, daunting even, to envision the future, but I urge all of you to allow yourselves the luxury of looking forward with excitement and hope. I have seen resilience and grit unlike ever before over these past twelve months, and I am so excited to see where our hard work will land us in the new year.
