about /// À propos THIRD SHIFT is a contemporary art festival presented by Third Space, a not-for-profit artistrun centre in Saint John, New Brunswick. The land on which we gather, create, work, and play is the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik/Wəlastəkwiyik (Maliseet) Peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Wəlastəkwiyik (Maliseet), Mi’kmaq, and Passamaquoddy Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1726. THIRD SHIFT was created in 2015 as a platform for new experiences and communal exchange. The event aims to offer Saint John citizens and visitors to the city a unique opportunity to engage with contemporary art and re-imagine urban space.
