

Hope Street, our fourth phase of development at Restoration Rome, will focus on prevention instead of intervention. This new space will feature an expansion of our existing "Hope Chest" a dedicated space for clothing and resources, as well as our YMCA after-school program.

A new addition to Restoration Rome will be housed in Phase IV - the Workforce Innovation Center and Youth Development Academy. This new endeavor will bring our local employers together with potential employees focused on providing the training necessary to ensure the required skill set is met through higher education or trade school.

The Hope Street strategy is focused on addressing under-employment and lowwealth issues by providing access to muchneeded resources in the community.
This newly renovated 11,000 sq ft space inside Restoration Rome will address several core issues contributing to the current child abuse/neglect crisis in our country - economic well-being, food insecurity, and lack of other essential needs
We’ve brought partner providers from across all sectors together in a neutral, collaborative space that is here for our foster/adoptive families, birth parents, and the community as a whole

Youth Development Academy trainings and classes will take place in the Workforce Innovation Center. Here, young people from our local community will have access to resources that will support high school graduation, encourage higher education options, promote financial responsibility, and broaden career opportunities
The Workforce Innovation Center will feature a training room outfitted with Smart board for instruction, independent computer workstations with internet access, career closet stocked with gently-used business-appropriate options.
Services planned include entrepreneurship classes, GED classes, interview coaching, financial coaching, and application assistance Partnerships with local industry leaders have been cultivated to offer expanded education/trade skill development and foster career opportunities
The newly renovated expanded areas for the YMCA at Restoration Rome will feature 2 large flex spaces separated by an accordion wall and a dedicated Maker Space for art projects, woodworking, crafts, etc. A covered terrace has also been added and will provide much-needed space for outdoor activities.

Boutique-style shopping spaces for gently-used, donated children’s clothing
Separate shopping areas divided by size/gender, ranging form newborn to young adult
Donation sorting area with washer/dryer and storage
"General Store" area for toys, diapers, infant supplies, etc
Bloom Closet, an existing clothing ministry in Georgia, will expand their operation into Northwest Georgia at Restoration Rome. Bloom Closet employees will assist shoppers with items and stock inventory, as well as accept and sort donations on siteRestoration Rome is working with Third Lens Ministries, a nonprofit organization which manages the design and construction process in order to ensure a successful building project for ministries
Tchouaffé, a Third Lens partner, has volunteered and donated their design services on this project, greatly lowering design + planning costs.
Because of these partners, this project will move forward with the seal of approval from industry professionals, mitigating the risk of financial misuse, serious delays, and permitting issues.
