THIIS has had a spring clean with a fresh new look that aims to reflect the growing sophistication in the mobility, access and independent living sector. Originally hoping this would be the talking point of the month, the redesign has taken a back seat to a far more immediate issue: coronavirus. In a month that resulted in a change in the very way society functions, many retailers in the sector found themselves facing the situation of zero footfall in showrooms in what should have been one of the busier months in the mobility retail calendar. Trying to survive in this new reality, THIIS dedicated its April issue to help outline which support is available to the trade to help them weather the storm, as well as highlight some amazing and charitable efforts that have been borne from the crisis.
