Drama students are invited to go on a field trip with their classmates and fellow drama students to The Winter Garden Theatre to see Canstage’s production of The Wizard of Oz. The show takes place on Tuesday, December 10th at The Winter Garden Theatre. Students will meet at the theatre at 6:30PM.
From now until the end of the school year, students will be given 4-5 opportunities to see a show at a local Toronto theatre with their classmates. Students should aim to attend at least 2 of these shows. This will support their play review unit which culminates in students writing a response to a piece of theatre which they have seen recently. This show gives students an opportunity to learn about the style of pantomime theatre from some of Canada’s most talented artists in that genre.
