Something that made me curious this year was the Science Extravaganza. This project peaked my curiosity even when we first heard about it at the beginning of the school year due to its uniqueness compared to other summatives. The ability to choose any topic that could relate to science was really interesting to me, and prompted me to learn about a topic that I enjoyed to a larger extent than I normally would be able to.

Something that challenged me this year was definitely the Reach-Ahead math course. In Grade 8, I am very grateful for the option that was provided to take an accelerated math course to do Grade 9 math instead, and while this was quite a challenge, it was very fun, and overall a great experience.
