She has built the classes from 1 a week at a local leisure centre to 6 regular classes a week.

iane Clark of Pilates with Diane based in Southam, Warwickshire has seen huge growth in the past year with her being Nominated as a Finalist in the Networking Mummies Recognition Business Awards 2015, featured on Radio Plus Coventry; Talk Business show and much more!

Diane left the busy corporate world six years ago to take her Passion for Pilates and change her career to retrain as a Pilates Instructor.

In August last year Diane fitted out her own Pilates Studio at home to allow her to teach Pilates as 1:1 or 1:2 classes in her own home studio.

Integrating her Gym knowledge with Pilates she includes adaptations of the original Pilates exercises with Resistance Bands, Pilates Balls and Foam Rollers in her classes. Resistance bands are used for strength; Pilates balls to work on balance and coordination and Foam Rollers for core & pelvic stability work. Classes are suitable for beginners to intermediate levels and small (a maximum of 10 adults) to allow her to give personal help to clients when needed.

‘cheap as chips’ chocolate pots

Slimming World’s chocolate pots will be

a big hit with the chocolate-lovers among your friends and family. Infused with dark rum, these rich, dark chocolate pots are really simple to make. They take just 20 minutes to prepare then you can leave in the fridge to set before serving. Serves 4.

Ingredients

Top each pot with a dollop of fromage frais and decorate with chocolate sprinkles and a white chocolate star.

Method

- Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water then leave to cool for 10 minutes.

- Beat the egg yolks, sweetener and rum into the cooled chocolate.

- Whisk the egg whites until just stiff but not too dry then fold into the chocolate.

- Transfer the mixture into small serving glasses (shot glasses are ideal) and chill for 1 hour or until set.

• 60g dark plain chocolate • 3 eggs, separated • 3-4 tbsp sweetener • 2 tbsp dark rum • 4 tbsp fat free natural fromage frais, sweetened to taste • 1 level tbsp chocolate sprinkles, to decorate • 4 white chocolate stars, to decorate

Warwickshire’s Southam Windmill Singers, is inviting high-quality applicants who have aspirations to be Musical Director of an established group of singers with a track record of musical excellence.

The choir, of some 50 years standing, has a repertoire of sacred, choral, classical, traditional and popular show music and an ever-expanding range of four-part harmony arrangements of modern songs.The Windmill Singers perform at venues around mid-Warwickshire at community events, carol concerts, weddings and funerals in addition to an annual local sell-out cabaret concert with invited guest artistes. The choir has a history of being invited, annually, to take part in summer services in many of the UK’s prestigious cathedrals - in 2015 - Hereford!

The choir has an established dress code and rehearses weekly in Southam on Thursday evenings. It is a Registered Charity, has an established and experienced accompanist and is run by a management committee.

Gardener’s Guided Walk Come and join the Gardens Supervisor in an informal walk round Hill Close Gardens, which are under his professional care. The focus of the walk is on plants of seasonal interest as well as the new developments in both planting schemes and layout of the different individual gardens.

The walks are tailored to match the interest of the participants with plenty of time for discussion and questions. Old varieties of vegetables are grown and are for sale when in season. The Gardens also have a valuable collection of more than 60 different varieties of apples and pears.
