Whilst on maternity leave with my third daughter I wanted a

change, so decided to enrol in college to learn the art of flower making with icing, from here I decided to start a business making cakes. I had no idea how much I would love the feeling of someone receiving my creation and being overjoyed by the outcome.

For many years I have had a passion for baking, enjoying the benefits of creating something delightful to look at to the deliciousness of tasting it afterwards. Then I realised that I wanted others to share that same experience. So after training and with the help of my family, a good friend and now collegue, Pure Delights Cakery was created.

Working from home I create bespoke cakes which are all home made and hand made and designed with the clients’ themes and requests. We try our best to cater for all nutritional requirements. From the initial design consultation through to delivery or collection, we offer a completely stress free experience with great passion, care and attention to detail.

I was so pleased to be awarded the “cake decorator of the

year 2012” and the comments I receive make it all worth while.

Foodbanks thanks to LWAD’s show “Finding Anastasia” at the Belgrade Theatre in July.

Some 500 students danced their way to raising this money over 3 very hot days in July. From ages 5 up to 80 something (we daren’t ask) everyone performed with great skill and confidence. It was a tremendous showcase for LWAD demonstrating the ranges of style and levels we can offer in the school.
