LIFE AT THE WESTMOOR CLUB Steeped in history and built on traditions, The Westmoor Club is nestled among 15 acres of dramatic courts, sparkling pools, lush gardens, and rolling moorland grasses high atop a hill just 300 yards from Nantucket Sound and a healthy walk from the top of Main Street.

Westmoor is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, accommodations, products and services. We are driven by people who desire to provide superior, distinctive, professional, and attentive services to our members and guests.

Nantucket is an island 30 miles off Cape Cod’s southern coast. It can only be reached by plane or ferry. A mere 50 square miles - Nantucket is enchanted with beaches, lighthouses, a rich history, award-winning restaurants and much more.

FOOD & BEVERAGE Our food and beverage staff provide excellent service and care to our members, whether it be in our fine dining, à-la-carte restaurant, or casual pool-side café. They are friendly, attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable and are also responsible for the set up and break down of club events. In addition, they present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage to help create the best dining experience possible.

THE WELLNESS CENTER Our 18,000 square foot Wellness Center boasts state-of-the-art fitness equipment, two squash courts, a dedicated spin room, over 60-hours of scheduled fitness classes weekly during the height of the season, including yoga, Pilates, strength training, personal training, a full menu of spa services, and much more.

CULINARY The Westmoor Culinary Team includes the best of the best. With two major food outlets, open 7-days a week, this team is always working hard. The Culinary Team creates delicious and visually appealing dishes for our members. Since we are located on an island, there is a strong emphasis on seafood and other locally sourced products.

GROUNDS Our wonderful groundskeepers participate in the daily maintenance of our tennis courts, croquet lawn, playing fields, event lawns, gardens, and hardscape within the property. Their hard work makes Westmoor shine!

HOUSEKEEPING Our housekeeping team does a meticulous job at maintaining the inside of our facilities. The Westmoor Club has seven guest bedrooms in the Clubhouse. Housekeeping also works in the Wellness Center and other Club outlets. They are experienced and value the small details.

CONCIERGE Our Concierge team is the first to interact with our members. They provide excellent service by anticipating our member’s needs and exceeding their expectations. They consistently deliver the best experiences.

AQUATICS Our aquatics team is responsible for the safety of adults and children at our pools.

The Westmoor Club has a 25 yard long family pool, custom Whirlpool, children’s pool and adult pool. We also have a swim team and provide swimming instructions.

INTERNSHIPS Management Interns shall serve in a variety of roles across The Westmoor Club.

Each intern will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of the assigned Department Head and will be given the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of department specific and overall club operations. Once a week, interns will participate in meetings with the GM and other Department Heads to review the management structure.

WORKING & LIVING AT WESTMOOR We pride ourselves in hiring individuals who will provide the best service available while working in a quality atmosphere. We provide competitive wages, onproperty housing, employee appreciation bonus, meals, and use of wellness facilities.

• Employee uniforms are provided at no cost.

• Housing on property has laundry facilities and wireless internet. Some properties have a kitchen. These rooms include single, double and triple units.

• Housing cost is based on room assignment.

• We supply a bed, bedding and towels.

• In season, three meals a day are provided at no cost.

• Employees may use the Wellness Center during regular employee workout hours.

• We offer employee swim nights on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

• Bus pass for use on the Island at no cost.

• The Westmoor Club is a non-tipping club with the exception of Wellness Center services. Members are encouraged to express their appreciation to Club employees by contributing to the Employee Appreciation Fund in the fall of each year.

Seasonal dates of operation are mid-May through mid-October.
