What an amazing happening week for Flynn Ward. The Pool Party and the Dunolly Country Market were extremely well-patronised and quite possibly overshadowed the Skate Park opening.

The community of Flynn ward be proud and keep se ng your standards high

Extremely well done and fantas c to see, be part of and hear great reports

While driving around Flynn Ward this weekend, we no ced the number of fallen limbs and trees on the roadside everywhere

This was men oned to us while a ending the Dunolly Market. A number of people showed concern how, over the past two years this has not been addressed. Quite possibly, since the SES opera ons were paused - could it be that the amazing work the SES did has not been picked up by the Shire?

Once again this highlights the value of our volunteer groups around our Shire.

Please support our volunteer groups.

Another concern was that it appears Microdevelopments are being passed on a regular basis by Council in the Maryborough area, yet there are many planning applica ons outside the Maryborough area which are being stalled, ignored or not ac oned

Our Councillors need to be aware of this, we need to raise this issue with all of Council and have this issue addressed, and addressed immediately.

In the Council’s second quarter update, many projects listed for Flynn Ward s ll seem to be si ng idle.

Is it me our Councillors and Council realise that there is more to the Central Goldfields Shire than Maryborough?

The Dunolly community is certainly doing their bit with their events, which are leading the Shire with tourism

Maybe it's me they got some recogni on from the Shire It is great to hear from the community how well they have done, it would be nice to receive some more support from Council

A er all, it certainly appears Flynn Ward seems to be doing the lion’s share of tourism for our Shire. No $2 million gold display, no $3 million Art Gallery, and the list goes on.

Well done Flynn Ward - stand tall and be proud. Our next Ratepayers mee ng will be in Dunolly on 4th April - me and loca on TBC

Thank you all and please look a er each other
