Cassie & Andrew wanted a relaxed, fun wedding day that they could enjoy with family and friends. “We didn’t want to be too fussy, we wanted to have a good time and have all the people that are important to us there. We wanted to provide a simple, relaxed and fun atmosphere for our guests so that they were comfortable and had a good time.”
WR. How did you decide on Elm Hurst?
CASSIE & ANDREW: We wanted to be married in a place that felt right to us, where the ceremony, reception and photos could all be in one location, so we didn’t have to run around from place to place. We wanted to relax and enjoy every minute of the day. We chose the Elm Hurst Inn because it fit all the criteria... and the food is amazing! And, as a bonus it was located midway between Windsor and Toronto, where most of our guests were coming from. Ironically, we had stayed at the Elm Hurst two years prior, and while checking

out the grounds, we decided it was an ideal place to be married. While we were talking, I mistakenly thought that Andrew was about to propose!
WR. Biggest Challenges?
CASSIE: Taking the time to actually plan. I was in school at the time and we seemed to procrastinate on everything. We definitely wanted things a certain way, to reflect our interests, but we didn’t want the wedding planning to dominate our lives. I chose a few things that mattered and focused on them.
