Summertime Happy Hour

Each quarter the UIP corporate office hosts a happy hour for the entire organization July 20th was a summertime-themed get-together complete with a delectable spread of food from Federalist Pig, ice-cold drinks, and colorful décor to transport us poolside (but without the sweltering outdoor temperature!) This is one way UIP works to build camaraderie throughout the organization, develop a stronger rapport between corporate and on-site teams, and celebrate successes in-person.

It wouldn't be a UIPeople event without fantastic door prizes.

$250 Amazon Gift Cards were handed out to six lucky attendees, drawn at random, throughout the event.

UIP Roll Out

Reputation Management

We recently rolled out a renewed reputation management program and policy Didn't attend the call? No problem! Here are the highlights along with some tips and tricks to always be mindful of when addressing concerns:

Responding To Positive Reviews

Response Rate Goal: 30%

Responding To Negative Reviews

Response Rate Goal: 100%

Keep it professional. It feels awesome when you or your community was recognized for a job well done, but be sure to maintain the same polished, helpful tone used for neutral and negative reviews If you sound too familiar the positive review could be seen as a 'fake' left by an employee or friend

Keep it short. Regardless of positive or negative, our responses should be short, sweet, and always creating a path of (offline) communication. Besides, no one wants to

Keep it realistic. Only promise on what you can deliver on. Once completed, follow-up with the reviewer that you delivered on the items discussed.

THE RESULTS ARE ALREADY APPEARING!

TheUIPCompanies onLinkedIn

We are growing our LinkedIn network, and we need your help! Engaging on social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, is an important way to get our name out there and increase recognition in the industry.

When you follow us, we're able to increase the reach of our posts and stories, allowing us to spread news about our successes.

Our posts are also a key recruiting tool. Prospective candidates have the opportunity to learn about our business and culture, what it's like to work at UIP, all through our LinkedIn profile.

THREE EASY WAYS to make an impact on LinkedIn

If you add UIP as your employer, it'll be easy to follow our company page This is one way to keep you in-the-know with all that UIP has going on

We post several times every month We don't expect you to like and share everything, but if you log in a few times a month and hit 'like' or 'share' the posts you enjoy you'll help us two-fold: getting our name out there and also let us see what posts you want more of!

UIP Employee-LedCommittees

The Women of UIP

Recognizing talent and building confidence in one's abilities are part of this committee's commitment to its members. This committee works with the leadership team to develop opportunities and activities that highlight realistic career trajectories and helps to build soft skills.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee

The goal of this committee is to ensure everyone has an equal and valued voice when it comes to shaping policies, recruiting talent, and providing the tools needed for all to advance in their careers Tackling unconscious bias and promoting a better understanding of what DEI means are the first line items on their agenda.

Property Management Advisory Committee

This committee has member representatives from every onsite role who meet monthly to discuss a wide range of topics affecting the property teams, brainstorm solutions, and present their recommendations to leadership This committee is open to all onsite UIPeople, but space is limited

An All New Look

At Arlington's Most Coveted Address

Standing 19-stories tall, The Millenium at National Landing is one of the original buildings lining Metropolitan Park, with Amazon's HQ2 taking the other half Terrific views and incredible green space isn't all you'll get when you call us 'home' - there are also these jaw dropping apartments. Everything has been updated, from the floor to the kitchen and bath, right down to the blinds (now with voice command!)

This upperfloor corner unit is as dreamy as the view from the wrap around floor-toceiling windows

Even if you don't cook as often as you would like, these open and luxurious kitchens are the perfect perch for party guests
