Community NEWS

Thank you to all for adhering to the Covenants and recognizing that these regulations are necessary to keep our community a visually pleasing and safe place to live. HOLIDAY DECORATIONS We have been loving everyone’s holiday decorations! Just a quick reminder that once the holidays have passed, holiday lighting and decorations must be removed.

Yard Debris: It is important to rake up leaves and deposit them appropriately. Do not blow any vegetative matter resulting from lawn maintenance, such as leaves, grass clippings, and debris, into the street as it ends up in the storm drain.

Parked Cars: All cars parked in the roadway must be facing the direction of traffic. They can be parked there only if no alternative is available in the driveway and only for four hours. Cars cannot be parked in a hazardous way, such as in curved roadways or on a hill. Also, they should never be parked on the concrete areas of the walkways or the grass. Tash Cans: Trash cans must not be placed in the view from the road or the golf course view.

Pet Reminders: Please be considerate of your neighbors if your dog is outside and barking after 10 p.m. And remember dogs should always be leashed and picked up after while on walks.

Thanksgiving Among the Nesters

Thanksgiving dinner with the Empty Nesters was filled with the traditional goodies, thanks to the delicious dinner prepared by local caterer Christy Steele (who can be reached at 404.550.2165). One of the largest Nester gatherings of the year enjoyed the turkey, dressing, sweet & mashed potatoes, green beans, corn and lots of pie—pumpkin, pecan and apple. The group had a fun night of games with good friends—and we’d love to have you join us! Are you an Empty Nester, meaning you have no dependent kids at home? Single or married, young or old(er), think about starting the New Year off by coming to the next meeting. We get together in the Meeting House, usually on the third Saturday evening of the month. If you’re interested, please send an email to our co-chair Kathy Sposa at ksposa@aol.com.
