What is ice cream? See how it is made, talk with the experts, find out about healthy (and not so healthy) ice creams, taste the good, the bad and the ugly! Find out if ice cream is the same all over the world. Taste products from around the world; which is the best - Italian, American, Swedish, or good old fashioned Cream of Cornish!
A Quiz to end all quizzes! If you put all the Magnums in the world end to end, how far would they go? Ice Cream was invented by the Chinese, like most things, but who brought it to England? Where would you eat salty ice cream and ice cream with chilli?
Make your own! With help from the experts, make your very own products. Choose your ingredients, mix them, create the product and then, the enjoyable bit – eat it!
Ice Cream competition for children! If you are 10 or under, you can enter a competition to design a new unique ice cream. The winner of the competition will have their ice cream made by professionals and presented to them on July 5th. Entry forms will be available in and around the village from June 5th. The forms should be returned to me no later than June 20th when a panel of judges will select the winning innovation. We will then arrange for this unique product to be made by professional ice cream makers in time for presentation on July 5th. Mums and Dads - get the kids thinking now. This will be an afternoon of fun and entertainment for all the family. Don’t miss it, you will not be disappointed.
Be Warned - Don’t have a big lunch! Wendy Reeves, Friends of All Saints Church
