Getting Out

I was stuck in quarantine for thirteen days at the start of the summer term, and I had to attend online lessons for eight of them. While in my room alone,

I couldn't wait to get out I couldn't wait to get out, because I felt like I was missing out on so much and I wanted to actually talk to real people!

When The Stag invited me to draw something for the magazine, Miss Curren suggested I do something related to getting out of confinement and the idea struck. I'm actually happy with the way it turned out, and I love the idea for this piece - finally returning to real-life interactions and not online lessons anymore. Akari Ikeda, Year 9, School House
