THE PAPER

THE PAPER is the Rockford, Illinois and surrounding Stateline Area's only underground newspaper. It was founded in 1998 to bring alternative viewpoints, adult humor and area events to an adult crowd. Printed copies can be found at 250 locations ranging from Janesville, WI, in the north, to Davis Junction, IL, in the south, to Pecatonica, IL in the west and Belvidere,IL in the east. It is intended to be read by adults only and is truly a one-of-a-kind newspaper serving the area.
