Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde boyish hair with swirling curls at forehead and sides, blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish, except one finger broken. Marks: 1498 10. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910. Value Points: rare doll with especially fine detail of modeling, finest bisque and painting. $1200/1700
