8. Two German Porcelain Half Dolls by Dressel Kister 3 ½” (9 cm.) and 4”. Each is waist-up porcelain figure of nude lady with arms expressively posed, one with grey hair captured in a chignon at the back and held by a gilt head band with blue beads, and the other with grey hair in arranged curls and a gold head band. Each with blue bishop’s staff marking. Excellent condition, three finger tip flakes on lady with upraised hands. Dressel Kister, circa 1900. Property of the Strong Museum. $400/600

9. Two German Porcelain Half Dolls by Dressel Kister 4 ½” (11 cm.) Each is waist-up porcelain figure of nude lady, one with grey sculpted hair in rare looped and criss-crossed braid decorated with magenta band and yellow bows, and having jointed arms; the other with light brown hair captured in a blue dotted turban with decorative bow, and with arms sculpted away from her body. Each with blue bishop’s staff marking. Excellent condition, professional restoration to fingers on left hand of jointed arm lady. Dressel Kister, circa 1900. Property of the Strong Museum. $500/800

Each is porcelain waist-up figure of adult lady, with arms expressively posed, one with sculpted white Charlotte cap decorated with aqua lining and pink band and bow; and the other with ornately-shaped tri-feather crown. 11. German Porcelain Doll with Original Ballerina Body, Costume and Stand by Dressel Kister 10” (25 cm.) All-porcelain doll with jointed arms and legs in ballerina pose, one on tip toe, the other held elegantly back, with grey/brown sculpted hair in formal arrangement, held by gilt decorative beaded combs, with green painted ballet slippers, jointed arms, original (frail) silk and lace costume, and posed on original padded cushion base. Mark cannot be seen. Excellent condition except restoration to right hand. Dressel Kister, circa 1900. Property of the Strong Museum. $600/900
