Welcome to our guide for October to November. Thank you for the feedback on the guide’s new style, we are incredibly happy with it and will continue to tweak and improve. Thank you to everyone who supported us over the last few months, with Barbie and Oppenheimer surging to be our best-selling films of the year so far.

I’m very excited for you to enjoy our programme for this season, opening with my Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 and the return of arguably the Regent’s favourite moustache in A Haunting in Venice (don’t tell our Queen tributes), followed by new offerings from Michael Caine in The Great Escaper and Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon.

For the football fans among you, we have Arsenal Legends gracing our stage and local legends, Christchurch Gilbert and Sullivan Society will be performing HMS Pinafore in September. I hope to see you down at the Regent soon!

After a chaotic and hilarious appearance on Taskmaster earlier this year, Scottish comedian Fern Brady is back on the circuit and heading to Christchurch to headline our Comedy Club! Fern has appeared regularly on The News Quiz and The Now Show, and was short-listed for Outstanding Female Comedy Entertainment Performance at the 2023 National Comedy Awards for her appearance on Taskmaster.

Amassing more than 900 appearances in the red and white of The Gunners between them, three Arsenal legends are coming to town to talk about their action-packed football careers. Starring Ray Parlour (Romford Pele); Paul Merson, now a regular face on Sky Sports; and midfielder Perry Groves, now a radio presenter, they will discuss the games, dressing room/training ground stories, managers, fallouts, and everything you wanted to know about playing for a successful football club. There will be a chance to ask questions during the evening.
