The fall season is fully upon us, and it’s my favorite time of the year here in the mountains. The cool temperatures and spectacular landscape are just a small reminder of why I’m so thankful to call this beautiful area my home. To convince you that 2020 has been a “crazy” year so far would not take much persuasion. Pandemics, economic shutdowns, event cancelations, civil unrest, and a political scene unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed has been overwhelming to say the least! However, in the midst of all this turmoil in our nation and our world, I’ve never been more thankful to live in the mountains of Western North Carolina. As we approach Thanksgiving Day 2020, I would encourage you take time to reflect on the things you’re thankful for.
