Spring is in the air

The Bobcaygeon Kinette Club has just finished hand-making their famous Easter Eggs. They are now ready and for sale at only $3 per egg. The Easter Eggs will be at the Kawartha Dairy, Pharma Save Drug Store, The Dunsford Store and you may also purchase them from any member of the club. Coming up on May 7, 2017 is the Kinette Club’s “Spring Fling” which will be held at the Legion in Bobcaygeon. Proceeds from this project go to Cystic Fibrosis. Stay tuned for more details on this wonderful project. The Kinettes do work hard for our community by raising funds which go to community projects including Ross Memorial Hospital, Bobcaygeon Helps Food Banks, Five Counties Children’s Fund, Cancer Society, Women’s Resources, Bobcaygeon Public School Breakfast Fund, Royal Canadian Legion, Canada Day, for Bobcaygeon Lion’s Club and our main fund-raiser is Cystic Fibrosis. Children may enter their name in the draw for a “Little Friends” book Bag filled with fun. Winning names will be drawn at each library branch just prior to closing on Saturday, March 18. March Break Skating and Swimming in the City of Kawartha Lakes: There will be special skating times added to the regularly scheduled public skating. Please contact your local arena to confirm the schedule. Regular admission fees will apply to March Break Skating and Swimming Programs. Trent Lakes Public Library: Your children can join in Wednesday, March 15 for St. Patrick’s Day activities from 11am to 12pm.
