Getting to knowoneanother!

The week began with pupils sharing anecdotes from their summer holidays, recountingtheir adventures while using learned phrases and expressions. Our pupilshad some fun ice-breaking activities which allowed them to interact in Mandarin, introducingthemselves and sharing their interests with new classmates. It was encouraging to see some pupils guiding their friends who are new to the language. Laughter and animated discussions filled the air as pupils eagerly share and learn from one another!

Houses
Barbarians
Children have had a brilliant first week to school where lots of house points have been awarded. However, our house points have not been collected yet as we are awaiting this years House Captains to begin their role.
Next week Year 6 are being interviewed for the new house captain roles. Almost all of Year 6 have put their names forward to be a house captain which is absolutely amazing, showing their dedication and enthusiasm to take responsibility around school. I know it is going to be a hard decision picking just four captains from all the amazing candidates!
In the Perse post next week we will be announcing the new House captains. Super exciting!!!
Good Luck to all Year 6 who have put their names forward!

Upcoming events
Please note that this event is postponed until the 31st August 2023 at the same time.
