call for a show of hands was a stark reminder of how huge the change has been between generations. In New Horizon on Heritage Day (Thursday 24 September), Gerry Gordon, the councillor for ward 67, asked if any of the roughly 50 children in attendance had ever played three sticks, three tins, Muis Muis or Kennetjie. We teach the residents and children in the community when we go out.” Berenice Halifax, also a Covid-19 ambassador, was the elected feeding scheme organiser.
