To the parents of our Confirmandi: We have received notification that His Excellency, The Most Reverend Bishop of Trenton, will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation here at the Parish of St. Mary on Friday, October 19, at 4 pm. More specific information will be conveyed once that day draws near. You have already been notified about the Confirmation interviews that will take place next month. Prior to Confirmation, there will also be a Confirmation retreat, and at least one rehearsal for the ceremony. Dates for those events will be communicated soon. To all the 8th grade Confirmation candidates: Confirmation interviews will be done according to the following schedule their interviews: Students with last names beginning in A-E on Sunday, June 3, between 1:30 and 3:30 pm. Students with last names beginning in F-K on Sunday, June 10, between 1:30 and 3:30 pm. Students with last names beginning in L-Z on Monday, June 11, between 6 and 8 pm. Students missing their allotted time must come on Tuesday, June 12 at 6:00 pm. A successful interview is only one of the prerequisites for advancing to Confirmation. If a student performs less than satisfactorily on their interview, a make-up interview will need to be scheduled with me. Completion of the service hours as well as attendance at our year's Sunday sessions, and attending the Confirmation retreat in the fall also are parts of the program requirements.
