KENNETH TOMBLIN

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Kenneth Tomblin, 86, died Sunday, May 14, 2023, at his home, following an illness. He was born June 30, 1936, in Fisher, Illinois, to the late Johnathan and Wilhelmina (Hays) Tomblin.

Ken was a veteran of the US Army, having served 12 years during the Vietnam War era. He was a retired truck driver and a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Heartland Christian Center in North Judson. Ken was an avid reader and enjoyed playing solitaire and mahjong and spending time with his family. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.

He is survived by his wife, Pierrette (Mouilleron) Tomblin, four children: Cathy Bradley of Knox, Indiana, Jerry (Mary) Tomblin of Champaign, Illinois, Michael (Holly) Tomblin of La Porte, Indiana and Kevin (Annie) Tomblin of Myrtle, Mississippi, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and three siblings: JoAnn Rodriguez of Michigan, Nadine Coffin and Clyde (Dianne) Tomblin, both of Illinois. He was preceded in death by four siblings: Russell, George and Dale Tomblin and Shirley Gill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were made by Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet and Koontz Lake.

THEODORA ROCK

KNOX, IN - Theodora Rock, 86, died Monday, May 22, 2023. She was born March 25, 1937, to the late Theodore and Julia (Balough) Minisan.

Theodora spent her time reading and sewing.

She is survived by one son, Robert (Michelle) Rock of Knox, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin Rock and one son, Dennis Rock.

Services were held Friday, May 26, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial was in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox.

Arrangements were made by M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.

NITA BELLE LAND

KNOX, IN - Nita Belle Land, 89, died Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in Knox, Indiana. She was born February 2, 1934, in Illinois, to the late Lawrence and Edna (Cisco) Havlin.

She is survived by two sons: Donald Land of Knox and Richard (Peggy Sue) Land of Hamilton, Indiana and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Land and several brothers and sisters.

Private family services to be held at a later date. Interment will follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery, Knox.

Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox.
