Bringing Christmas Cheer to Vegreville Manor Submitted
Debbie Fedoruk held her annual, piano and voice, Christmas recitals at Vegreville Manor on December 6 and 7. A total of 25 students participated, and they performed a wide variety of Christmas carols. Some played piano solos, while a few students were brave enough to play while they sang. There were a couple of vocal duets and a team of sisters who worked together, one accompanying while the other sang. Debbie Fedoruk accompanied most of the students who sang and did some singing herself. There was an appreciative audience of around 50 seniors, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. The students were well prepared, and the recitals were a big success. Don Harfield of Perogies and Jam provided the sound equipment. Carissa Fedoruk operated the sound and took the photographs.
