Our model is Naomi Galea, and she has a wide range of interests. WHERE DO Y OU LIVE? I live in the picturesque village of Xagħra in Gozo. Xagħra is renowned for its historic places among which are the Ġigantija temples and Ta’ Kola Windmill, and for the good restaurants. WHERE ELSE WOULD Y OU LIKE TO LIVE AND WHY ? Another country I would like to live in is Italy. I love Italy. Every time I visit I’m enchanted by the magnificent natural landscape, and I’m always impressed by their gorgeous cities filled with many architectural and artistic treasures. I’m also amazed how they managed to preserve so much of their historic and old buildings. Also, we have the same Mediterranean climate and similarities in terms of culture, where every region has its own dialect, cuisine, history and specific traditions. Apart from all this I cannot leave out the good food, good wine and hospitable people. WHAT’S THE HAPPIEST JOB OR CAREER Y OU COULD HAVE? The happiest job I could have, and which in fact I’m studying for, is that of a kindergarten assistant. Since when I was a little girl I always enjoyed spending time with small children and babysitting for family members during family gatherings. Being with children is always fun and you can never get bored with all the noise, mess, laughter and excitement they create. What isn’t there to love? You have the privilege that the parents trust you with their children, and playing a role in children’s lives during those vital first years is very rewarding. Being aware that my role in child caring can have an impact on a child’s entire life is very challenging, since these first years of the children are very
