Commemorating the story of Easter

LOWOOD Trinity Lutheran Church welcomes all to participate in Holy Week and Easter services in a shared time of devotion to the Passion of Jesus Christ.

Lowood Lutheran Pastor Ben Graham said Holy Week begins with a celebratory service on Palm Sunday.

“The focus of Palm Sunday is remembering Jesus and his disciples walking into Jerusalem to celebrate one of the Jewish festivals,” Pr Graham said.es on Easter Sunday when the congregation celebrates Jesus’ resurrection.

“Easter Sunday is when we celebrate Jesus as it’s being discovered that he’s alive,” he said.

Pr Graham welcomed all to come along to Holy Week as the church commemorates the week leading to the death and resurrection of Christ.

“Everyone is welcome to come along,” he said.
