Singing in Esk to celebrate 45 years

FIVE choirs joined together in song to mark a milestone anniversary.

Esk Community Choir celebrated its 45th Anniversary at their ‘Kyrie Classic’ concert at the Somerset Civic Centre on Sunday March 26. They were joined by Blackbutt Singers, Something to Sing About Choir from Laidley, Women in Harmony Choir from together for a massed choir

Toowoomba, and Brisbane Concert Choir, who each performed their own set of songs including a ‘Kyrie’, a sung prayer.

The Esk Community Choir was founded in 1978 by current choral director Alexis Fitzgerald OAM.
