A top Ukrainian authority said on Friday that upwards of 13,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed since the Russian attack began in February, however others have put the figure a lot higher.

According to Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, official evaluations conducted by the president and general staff indicated that between 10,000 and 13,000 soldiers had died defending the country against Russia.
