At the event, IEK was represented by Eng. Christine Ingutia, Council Member and Chair of the Western Branch; and Eng Yvonne Roberts, FutureLeadersCommitteeMember.

The discussion centered around the pressing environmental issues of our time, notably climate change and resource depletion, which have been exacerbated by the conventional linear model of production and consumption oftensummarizedas"take, make, dispose."

This outdated approach has led society to an unsustainable juncture, necessitating a shift towardsmoresustainablepractices

The Eng.
