It is time for women to say, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!” It is time for a NEW WOMAN! It is time for us as women to remove our masks, release false truths, fears and expectations, and fully “show up” even more in our feminine essence, wisdom, power, abilities, and creativity. We must show up in our commitment and dedication to our divine feminine self as well as recognize our place in the growth and development process of our society and economy by continuing to excel in the arena of spirituality, creativity, wealth, abundance and the advancement of business.

In making such a commitment to ourselves, our families, our sisters and the world, we must as Marianne Williamson said in her famous poem Our Deepest Fear, “…we are all meant to shine…to make manifest the glory of God that is within us….as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." It is time for us as women to truly shine in our brilliance, divine creation, and feminine essence and power.

In 2009, the Dali Lama gave a powerful proclamation at the Peace Summit in Vancouver to western women stating that, “…the western woman will save the world.” When you read his full speech in context, it seems as if His Holiness was saying that when western women connect to and operate from their true feminine essence and power, as well as realize that they have access to information and resources that women in other parts of the world do not, then and only then will she able to “save” the world. A woman saving the world literally means that the full power and essence of a woman must be realized by every woman and present in order to be a part of the process of creating more balance, harmony, and spiritual restoration within humanity that is so desperately needed now.

A Very Little Bit of History When women entered the workforce during World War II, they were subjected to the masculine model of doing business. This model required that women become aggressive, driven, goaloriented, linear in thinking, competitive and “not so emotional”. Subconsciously, this mode of operation caused many women to become convinced that in order to have value, be recognized, accepted, and successful as well as in order to make money just to survive; she must hold true to the masculine model of doing business as well as live her life. Unfortunately, doing so has caused women great harm physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially.

Regrettably, most women are not even aware of it.

The Current Condition of Today’s Woman Current statistics state that 40-60% of American women are experiencing an increase in physically and psychological problems due to an increase in work and life demands. In addition, one out of four women are unhappy, unfilled, dissatisfied, and (my perception) broke.

This increase, along with the silent and indirect influence of the masculine mindset for existing and doing business, has negatively affected most women putting us in a position of crisis. We are constantly pushing, striving, doing anything we can to survive. The more expected of us, the more required of us, the more stressed we are, the more we work, give, and produce. Whether publically or silently stated, most women eventually say, “No matter what I do or how hard I try, it never seems good enough.” Such a statement has indirectly created a mindset, a constant way of thinking of, “I am not good enough.”

What typically happens to a woman when she feels and/or believes she is not good enough is she begins to work even harder in the hopes that eventually someone will see and acknowledge her hard work and finally approve and accept her for all she has done and maybe who she is.

However, the opposite typically holds true. Her hard work is often not acknowledged; instead she is taken for granted believing all the while that if she continues to give, others will soon take notice and reciprocate. This ultimately begins creating a vicious cycle of self-doubt, low selfesteem, fear, worry, anxiety, depression, overachievement, underachievement, self-sacrifice, overeating, manipulation, judgment, criticism and eventually unconscious self-hatred, just to name a few.

However, when a woman understands, accesses, and learns how to balance be and live from her divine and spiritual truth that she is enough, when a woman learns how to be and live from her feminine energy with the inclusion of masculine energy, whether in business or in life, the benefits are enormous. The benefit of women entering into the business world is that our feminine essence causes a deep examination into how we live life and how we do business with more purpose and meaning. Women entrepreneurs tend to build their business around their personal values such as family, a desired lifestyle, passion, their natural gifts and talents, and humanitarian causes. By learning to access and live from our divinity, intuition, feminine power as well as understand the power of deserving-ness and our enough-ness factor, we can bring about more harmony, greater rewards, and wealth that can create and heal that deep intrinsic need and desire to feel secure and the freedom to be ourselves in harmony with and for ourselves, our families and this world.

A NEW FEMININE MOVEMENT Starting in the 18th century with the feminist movement, upper and middle class women raised their collective voices to advocate for the rights and equality of women. That started the first wave of the feminist movement. The second wave focused on combatting social, cultural suffrage and inequality of women. The third wave focused on and continues to focus on women having a greater influence in politics. Our history/herstory is amazing and one that we as a collective whole must be very proud of. We would not have the advancement we are experiencing now if it were not for the women who have gone before us. However, it is now time for a new wave in the history of the feminist movement to come forward. This final wave involves women acknowledging “I Am Enough” and the fully essence of their divine feminine power, worth and value without the need and approval of others to validate their importance and necessity. In owning our divinity, feminine essence and power, and in our consciously being confident that we have something to offer to society and our world, we have an opportunity to make even a greater impact.

TIME FOR A NEW IDENTITY We all know that there is nothing more beautiful and sexy about a woman than her confidence in knowing “I Am Enough.” A woman living from this truth gives off an amazing brilliance and radiance that cannot be ignored or denied. From this place of spiritual and intellectual truth, a woman than has a greater opportunity to impact in the character development and lives of her family, restructure the condition of community, and eventually, inevitably Dr. Anita M. change the world. However, in order to do this, it is time for all women to develop a new identity that is not based on external influences, expectations, social constructs, or anything else that doesn’t honor her beauty, power, influence, and necessity. Instead, our new identity must be based on our OWN truth of who we say we are in acknowledging and knowing that we are enough (which includes the acceptance of and the valuing of our good, our bad and all our ugly).

Becoming A Diva, Living Like A Queen, Having the Confidence of A Goddess The human development process is arranged into several stages; childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, middle adulthood, and older adulthood. Within each stage there are certain critical themes that support an individual in becoming self-actualized, a productive, positively contributing human being. Unfortunately many of us has, more than likely, experienced various circumstances, whether positive or negative, that have hindered and/or continues to interfere with our ability to really experience ourselves, our relationships, and this life more abundantly. Yet, there is hope. The hope lies in a willingness to learn a new way of being, feeling, thinking and behaving that honors our own and feminine global truth as individuals and especially as women.

Defining Diva Unfortunately, the term “diva” has lost its true meaning due to the fact that too many celebrities in their own vanity, egotistical, temperamental personalities have conditioned us to believe that a diva is a woman who has a right to be arrogant, attitudinal, or a “prima donna.” However, if you look at the history of the term diva, it started as an opera distinction for a female singer who owns her talents and abilities as a singer due to her powerful vocal range. Another description of diva is that it derives from the word “divine” or “goddess.” So in truth then, a diva is a woman who owns her talents and abilities and acknowledges her goddess like persona. Once I understood the depth and power of the word diva, here’s the description that I now use when describing diva to others: D.I.V.A is a Divinely Inspired woman Valuing her Abundance The word value means worth and a deeply held belief. Imagine if every woman own her worth and deeply believed in who she was so much so that she spiritually, energetically, vibrationally, powerfully experienced the constant flow of abundance in her personal life and business. What a sight that would be!

Becoming a Queen and Living Like One When thinking about and describing a queen, the following descriptions might come to mind:  Grace

 Royalty

 Majesty

 Beauty

 Strength

 Courage

 Style

 Elegance

If you look closer, you will also see that each descriptor can also be considered a characteristic.

The word character means to make a distinguishing mark like a mark a typewriter would make on a piece of paper. Very distinguishable, very visible. Therefore it is safe to say that a queen can be a woman who makes a mark by her sheer presence and persona than by any act she executes.

Imagine what would happen to our relationships, families, society, and financial global economy if every woman cultivated her queenship by developing a deeper sense of self because she truly understood her self-worth, “enoughness” factor, and her feminine essence and power. Imagine how much YOUR life would change if in know you are enough, focused on becoming a diva, lived like a queen, and own and fully expressed who you are as a goddess. Again, what a sight that would be!

Confidence of a Goddess You have heard the statement that we are all spiritual beings living in a human body having human experiences and it is in our experiences, unfortunately, that often causes us to forget or disconnect from our true absolute and authentic selves. Becoming and staying connected to our inner Godself is an intricate, daily and necessary responsibility in order to gain the confidence of a Goddess. This requires the willingness to quiet one’s mind and soul. For a woman, this activity can be challenging since we are often pulled in so many directions that finding time to “be still and know” is tricky, to say the least. Yet, it is when a woman makes time to connect to God and her inner Goddess as a part of her daily ritual that she becomes empowered and strengthened in her divine insight that leads to increased self-awareness, rise of her feminine energy and power, the sharpening of her intuition, and the transformation of her personal life and business.

Developing the confidence of a Goddess means understanding and implementing the feminine way of balancing the various roles a woman plays as a woman, daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, professional and entrepreneur, aside from all the other roles she plays. When being and living from the confidence of a Goddess, women learn how to “be” instead of operating from the energy and mindset of willing, striving, and doing. need to being, doing , and living life outrageously well. In honoring and making our intimate relationship with our inner Goddess as requirement to living life abundantly well, we begin to need less of other’s approval and acceptance. We learn to allow everyone to be who they are and where they are in their own lives as we accept ourselves just where we are. In truth, allowing our inner Goddess to be in full divinely inspired control means working smarter rather than harder. Yet, what we must understand that as with every other relationship, the developing and gaining of confidence requires time, energy and the conviction that such a relationship is necessary to outrageous success.

Becoming Outrageously Successful Everyone wants to be successful. The idea of feeling and being holistically secure mentally, emotionally, relationally, spiritually and financially is considered an essential ingredient to living life abundantly. We work hard to have it. We often sacrifice our body, soul, spirit and those things we love most to experience it. We believe that in becoming successful it will give us the validation we so desperately desire and even need. However, the pursuit of success, unfortunately, is all too often based on what we do to accomplish it rather than who we are. And, if we fail at becoming successful by external standards, it often negatively affects our overall sense of self whether immediately or over time. Yet, the experience of being outrageously successful truly is our divine birthright, something etched deep inside our soul and spiritual DNA. Our challenge then is not in doing what it takes to be successful, that’s easy. Our challenge is in allowing ourselves to fully be outrageously and holistically successful.

Defining Success For women, the topic of “success” is a rare one but one that is becoming more of an interest.

Typically the conversation of most women revolves around our spouse or partners, children, household chores, finances, relationship or health issues, etc. When asked the question of what does it mean for a woman to be successful, nine times out of ten their responses revolve around the happiness of others say, “…if my husband and children are happy, then I feel happy and successful.” There is nothing wrong with such a statement except that is seems devoid of their true inclusion and right to be successful without the approval or requirement of others. So, what would happen if women began to desire and allow herself to be and experience success?

Holistic Approach to Success Research states that true wellness is reached when a person experiences harmony and balance within their body, soul (mind, will, emotions) and spirit. In a deeper sense, there are eight dimensions to experiencing holistic or true wellness. The eight dimensions are: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, occupational and financial. To experience optimal success, one must understand and participate in activities that support each of these areas. So a holistic approach to success can easily be accomplished when one understands not only the dimensions of wellness, but the key principles of wellness. The key principles of wellness that powerfully allows for success are: 1. Wellness is primarily a choice and a mindset 2. Wellness is a daily activity of the body, soul, and spirit 3.
