We are an artisan food brand producing, sourcing and selling great food to customers who are mindful of where their food comes from. Our like-minded suppliers and farmers employ sustainable practices and are sensitive to their environmental footprint. In our food shop, bakery, fish shop and butchery, we celebrate small scale producers and the goodness of fresh food.

Nestled in the foothills of the South Downs, our bakery and kitchen are the heart of our growing brand. Our sourdough starters, as old as we are, begin the process, hand cut and moulded and naturally leavened in our artisan proving baskets, then baked to perfection. All under the watchful gaze of our master baker, whose recipes and expertise have shaped our offering and our award-winning bread.
We use complementary, natural ingredients – nuts, seeds, rye, kibbled and crushed wheat and malt – to further enhance our loaves and give diversity to our offering. For the sweettoothed, we offer moreish cakes, flapjacks, cookies and pains au chocolat. Everything is delivered in dedicated in-house vans to your premises, fresh and ready to grow your food business, however big or small. We bring quality, innovation and consistency in our bread, that you and your customers will love.

We make all our baked goods from scratch. Each loaf is hand formed and crafted using traditional methods, with no additives or preservatives.
Our bakers are always happy to answer any questions you may have about ingredients and methods. We commit to prompt delivery to all our customers to ensure maximum freshness.
We bake with local products, like Weald and Downland flour, wherever possible. Through our work with UKHarvest, we provide weekly delivery of our baked goods to homeless shelters in need.

With its delicious range of seasonal, organic and free range meats, game and vast array of handmade sausages, our thriving butchery epitomises our company ethos of fresh and local food. We carefully select grass-fed cattle, free-range pigs, wild-shot venison and game and slow grown chickens to ensure the best flavour and highest standards of traceability.
Our lambs come from Goodwood Estate, just southwest of Petworth near Chichester. Specifically bred for meat, their Southdown lambs have flourished on the South Downs for centuries. Goodwood’s lamb has won several Great Taste Awards.
Truly free range, the pigs at Scott Free Range in Storrington roam freely, getting plenty of fresh air and exercise, and leading stress-free lives. They are allowed to eat, sleep and dig on their own schedules, and are fed a wholesome diet with no additives.
On rich and fertile Perthshire grasslands in the majestic highlands of Scotland, Highland Wagyu raise their premium Wagyu cattle and pedigree native breeds in a natural environment on specially created feed. They handle each animal with care and respect, and carefully condition them to create the distinctive wagyu marbling and its resulting velvety, buttery texture.
Our poultry is sourced from Sutton Hoo. Reknowned for its chickens grown slowly, free-range in a Suffolk meadow for a truly delicious flavour.
Our game is sourced from right here in Petworth through Southdowns Venison and Game, an ECApproved Game Handling Establishment. All game is humanely dispatched by professional hunters, and all cuts are completely natural and free from any additives.
