My husband and I are trying to expand on our limited culinary adventures and recently found ourselves at a traditional Peruvian restaurant. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy this new cuisine, my dish a “parrillada mixed” was absolutely delicious but we also discovered a new drink called Pisco. I had a Pisco Sour and my husband had a Pisco on the rocks. We both loved our aperitifs! Can you tell me a little about Pisco and where it can be found? We had never heard of it before but learned it is the national drink of Peru.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS
BUILDING IN GRIMSBY Habitat for Humanity Niagara is currently building a house in Grimsby for Vanessa, Eduardo and their three children, and thanks to John Deere Canada, the panels of the walls were built inside their spacious - and heated - plant!

“It was an amazing experience,” said Craig Brown, Habitat Niagara Construction Manager. “The team at John Deere was very accommodating to all of our needs - right down to helping us move the panels from their plant to the build site.” John Deere donated $75,000 to help fund this new Habitat home and its employees built the panels as part of a teambuilding experience alongside the future homeowners. Once the panels were delivered to the build site, Modern Crane carefully put the pieces in place and Davie Wiens led the skilled and efficient Niagara Volunteer Framing Crew who framed the house in less than a day. “We continue to be in awe of the skill, leadership and the unmatchable gift Dave and the professional framers continue to provide Habitat Niagara,” said Alastair Davis, Habitat Niagara CEO. The house is expected to be completed in May, and following completion a Home Dedication Ceremony will take place when the keys are handed over to Eduardo and Vanessa. Habitat homeowner families contribute 500 hours of sweat equity toward the purchase of their home through assisting on the building of their home. ver the years, I have watched and personally witnessed the magical power of pets and children. Having a pet in a child’s life can help in the early cognitive development, encouraging them to crawl and then walk, and later help boost a child’s IQ and reading skills. My daughter learned how to walk by having the determination to get our dog Rocky’s furry tail. Countless schools have programs with children reading to dogs. By the scent of a dog’s treat on the pages within the book, the child believes the dog is trying to read along with them, when really it is sniffing for the treat. The dog’s focus on the pages encourages the child to want to read longer. Studies have shown, that having a pet can reduce anxiety. Depression is a common mental illness. One teenage girl was hospitalized for severe depression and suicidal tendencies. Nothing seemed to help her. Dogs were brought in for visits. Gradually the girl began to feel better. She went home and began volunteering at the local shelter. She adopted a couple of kittens, and gradually recovered from the illness. Pet therapy is the healing power of animals. They have the power to comfort through unconditional love, the power to ease our pain, and the power to give us the strength and courage to keep going when life hands us challenges. Animals used in pet therapy include dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, chickens, donkeys, llamas, and even pot-bellied pigs.

My dog, Rocky, helped me through a debilitating disease, Crohns Disease, and gave me the strength and courage to keep hanging on to life. Through his unconditional love, I was able to survive! I feel everything in our life happens for a reason. Rocky passed away, and in his memory, I have written a children’s book series titled, “Rocky’s Journey”. My first book in the series, “Rocky’s Trip To The Hospital,” is based on my own story of triumphing over sickness, through the power of pet therapy. I took this book along with my certified pet therapy dogs into Children’s Hospitals. I shared with the children my story, read them Rocky’s book, and then watched the dogs do their magic. Many of the children I visited had been hospitalized for weeks. They were depressed, missing their normal life at home, missing their friends, and if they had one, missing their pet. When the children saw the dogs, with their wagging tails, they brightened right up. Laughter filled their eyes, huge smiles appeared on their tiny faces, and positive energy filled the room. Some of the children even shared their fears with the dogs. Every child said the dogs visit helped them feel better. It also helped the parents cope. Pets are magical. They sense our needs and comfort us. They truly give unconditional love. I would encourage you to make a difference for your child, by bringing an animal into their life! It can be a wonderful experience!

WITH SUE LONDON WHO ARE YOU? HOW DID YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
HIGHLIGHT YOUR CAREER (STANDOUTS/HURDLES)
I grew up as an only child filled with many fears. Fear of the unknown, fear of the future, and fear of success. I was completely filled with worry. Then I was diagnosed with Crohns disease in 1989, I had a life and death pregnancy, was given 30 minutes to live in my life, had a near death experience, went through divorce, then met and married my best friend and soul mate, Ross. Together we are guided to help many people cope, heal and move forward through my speaking events, and our air bnb, and many more unexpected places.
In 2001, I was asked to go on a TV show to promote an event I had organized. I was absolutely petrified. (I gave a speech once in grade school and I never had to give another speech due to throwing up on my teacher’s desk) At the age of 38, I joined Toastmasters International, got over my fear of being the centre of attention, and ended up marrying my mentor, Ross, became a motivational speaker, and two of my Toastmaster speeches became books - “Soar Above It All- Overcoming Adversities in Life”, and “Rocky’s Trip To The Hospital”.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW, GOOD? NOT HAPPY? At the time of writing this I am excited, grateful, and motivated! I have just booked another guest for our Air BnB, finished signing up a new Doterra Wellness Advocate, am supporting a friend going through a challenge, while getting cuddles in with our dogs, Marley and Gus. While I was doing all of this, my hubby was making us a delicious healthy fish dinner.

One of the greatest gifts I have ever received was on my 40th birthday. A 10 year old boy whom I had visited at McMaster Children’s hospital, read my “Rocky’s Trip To The Hospital” book. I had also given him a copy of my “Rocky’s Positive Thoughts Colouring Book” and helped him do visualization techniques. He shared with me that his cancer had gone into remission. He said I helped him heal. What an incredible blessing!

WHO INSPIRES YOU?
I love when my husband, Ross, and I pack up the car, make a lunch or supper and take our dogs on a winter picnic. Most of our winter picnics are eaten in the car wrapped in blankets. We have created such great memories and visited such interesting places.

WHO DO YOU SHARE YOUR LIFE WITH? (FAMILY/AFFILIATIONS) I enjoy quality time with my husband, our dogs, and dates with my married children. To me, many of my friends are family. We host many dinner parties at our house. We love getting together with friends to go to Trivia Night at Station One in Grimsby on Friday nights, or to a local hockey game or in the summer sitting by the lake with friends enjoying the scenery.
HOW DO YOU PERSONALLY LOVE TO LIVE YOUR LIFE? I wake up each morning filled with love and gratitude that I am alive. Before I start my day I have a daily routine of meditating and setting my intentions for my day. I am a believer that everything happens in our life for a reason and know that miracles can and do happen for each of us. We just have to become aware! I feel we are all put into the right place at the right time to meet the right people. When we put our focus in the present moment and go with the flow life becomes a wonderful adventure.

BEST COMPLIMENT YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED The best compliment I ever received came from a kindergarten student while I was doing a school presentation. He thought I was only 24 years old when I was actually 50 years old.
WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH? There are actually 2 things that really make me laugh watching my dogs, Marley and Gus play, and the other thing is watching my husband, Ross, watching Mr. Bean on TV. Ross’ laughter is contagious and very entertaining.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS? My goals and aspirations are to continue living a rich full, rewarding life with my very special husband and together continue making a positive difference through our words, educating people how to take their health to a better level and giving our Air BnB guests a wonderful memorial stays.
WHAT DOES THE WORD COMMUNITY MEAN TO YOU? To me ‘community’ means a group of like minded people supporting and encouraging each other.
HOW DID YOU COME TO THIS NEIGHBOURHOOD? Moving to our neighbourhood was definitely a meant to be and you could say we were guided here by a higher power. One morning my husband and I woke up and knew it was time to down size and sell our house in Burlington. We followed our intuition as we got in the car and just drove until we felt home. As we crossed over the Fifty Road bridge and saw the sign ‘Welcome to Winona’, we knew were home. Then we came across the exact spot where a new development was going in. There was one lot left for sale and that was lot 49 - the same number as my age. Our house was built, we moved in, and I purchased my first pair of rubber boots. I am now a country girl and loving every minute of it!

TRIO OF SISTER GUINEA PIGS These three girls have been together ever since they can remember and would love to go home together. If you have a single lonely female pig at home we would be willing to let one of these piggies go home to bond with her (usually a pig separated from a trio is very receptive to bonding with a new piggy). Buttercup and Bubbles are smooth coat guinea pigs and Blossom is Abyssinian with her whirly hairdo! They are sweet and kind to each other and have gorgeous colours and personalities. Adoption fee for all three is $45 in the hopes they can stay together. If you have a lonely lady pig at home then you can apply to adopt one pig out of this trio for $20. WHAT DOES THE LOGO REPRESENT? The logo is composed of a series of diamonds, or “celebratory gems”, arranged in the shape of the iconic maple leaf. The four diamonds at the base represent the four original provinces that formed Confederation in 1867: Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Additional diamonds extend out from the base to create nine more points—in total representing the 13 provinces and territories. The Canada 150 logo will become an evocative symbol and an enduring reminder of one of Canada’s proudest moments. The maple leaf motif is recognized at home and abroad as distinctively Canadian, and it fosters feelings of pride, unity and celebration. This unique and colourful design is simple enough to be drawn by children, and versatile enough to appear in color variations. The possible uses of the symbol are as unlimited as the spirit and imagination of the Canadian public.

CHOCOLATE
BABKA BUNS
SERVING SIZE: Makes 12 NOTE: If I don’t have buttermilk, I mix the milk and lemon juice and let stand for 5 minutes, and voila... buttermilk!
This recipe is a hybrid of cinnamon rolls and a traditional chocolate babka. I love it because I use a “quick bread” method instead of using a traditional yeast dough making this a perfect weekday recipe!
INGREDIENTS • For the Dough • 3/4 cup cottage cheese (4% milk fat) • 1/3 cup buttermilk (or 1/3 cup milk and 1 tsp lemon juice) • 1/4 cup granulated sugar • 2 oz (4 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract • 9 oz (2 cups) unbleached all-purpose flour; more for rolling • 1 tbsp baking powder • 1/2 tsp table salt • 1/4 tsp baking soda F O R T H E F I L L I NG
• 3 tbsp (45 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature • 1/4 cup (50 grams) granulated sugar • 8 ounces (225 grams) semisweet chocolate • Pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS S TEP 01
Heat oven to 350˚F and generously grease a 12-muffin tin. S TEP 02
Mix the Egg Wash ingredients in a small bowl, set aside S TEP 03
Prepare Filling First: If your chocolate is in large bars, roughly chop it. Then, you can let a food processor do the rest of the work, pulsing the chopped chocolate with the salt, sugar until the chocolate is very finely chopped with some parts almost powdery. Add butter and pulse machine until it’s distributed throughout the chocolate. Set mixture aside. Wash and dry the processor well. S TEP 04
Make the Dough: In the food processor, combine the cottage cheese, buttermilk, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla. Process until smooth, about 10 seconds. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda and pulse in short bursts just until the dough clumps together (don’t over process). The dough will be soft and moist. S TEP 05
Scrape the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it with floured hands 4 or 5 times until smooth. With a rolling pin, roll the dough into a 12" x 15" rectangle. S TEP 06
Sprinkle the filling mixture over the the dough and pat gently into the surface.

Starting at a long edge, roll up the dough jelly-roll style. Pinch the seam to seal, and leave the ends open.

With a sharp serrated knife, gently saw the roll into 12 equal pieces (I like to cut in half first and cut each half in half again and cut 3 slices for every quarter). Place each piece, cut side up, in the prepared muffin tin. Brush with egg wash.

Bake until golden brown and firm to the touch, 20-25 minutes. Set the pan on a wire rack to cool for 5 minutes. Run a spatula around the inside of each muffin cup to loosen any sticky bits and then remove buns to a rack to finish cooling.

CHEESECAKE The only thing better than making treats with the kids is being able to make them with more natural sources of sugar. This simple mini cheesecake recipe incorporates frozen fruit into the cake mix for added sweetness while decreasing the amount of sugar required. This recipe works with any variety Great Value frozen fruit, available exclusively at Walmart, including raspberries, strawberries or mixed berries. At only $0.60 per cake, they're perfect for large family gatherings.

SECONDARY SCHOOL
to prepare for the regional, provincial and national Improv competitions or for the SEARS drama competition. Both groups are buzzing with activity at the present time.
Students at Grimsby Secondary School have been thinking about next year and making their course selections from the wide range of available choices. During their four years of secondary school students earn 30 credits, pass the literacy requirement and complete 40 hours of community service to graduate. Twelve of the credits are optional and students can choose based on their passions, skills and interests. These choices include visual arts, drama, music, law, history, travel and tourism, co-operative education, fitness, hockey, construction, design, TV arts, website design, manufacturing, biology, physics, chemistry, health care, social sciences, business, exercise science and more. For students interested in construction or the arts, there is the opportunity to specialize their study and graduate with additional credentials in either of these areas as part of the SHSM programme. Our students have also been thinking about the myriad of extra-curricular opportunities. The skills of teamwork, trust, communication, leadership and mutual respect are a very large part of all of the teams and clubs available to students. Our athletes have a proud history of participation at all levels; junior, senior and varsity school teams as well as intramural games. The practice, game and tournament processes have a lasting impact on the lives of these young people. So far this year we have plenty to celebrate and cheer about. All of the runners on the Cross Country team qualified for Southern Ontario Secondary School Association (SOSSA). The Girls Junior Basketball team were the Niagara Region High School Athletic Association finalists. The Boys Junior Basketball are participating in the Niagara Regional finals at the present time. At the present time, the Girls Hockey team is in first place and the Boys Hockey team is one win away from first place. In Tennis, all of the team members qualified for SOSSA and Andrew Quanz and Nathan Kamphuis were SOSSA finalists. There were many winners on the Grimsby Swim team. Emma O’Grady and Josh Hubert each won two gold medals at SOSSA and both will represent GSS in Windsor at the Ontario Federation of Secondary Athletic Associations (OFSAA) provincial competition. Our rowing team has been practicing since the fall and continue their training at Brock University. They are looking forward to spring when they begin early mornings on the water at the Henley course. Our students taking Arts courses are very busy. Students in visual arts classes are preparing pieces for the Off the Wall Art Show and the Graduate Art Show. Our musicians are preparing for the spring concerts and our students interested in Drama have many opportunities

Arts students and staff travelled to NYC in November. Technological skills challenges are fast approaching and students are preparing to showcase their skills in a wide variety of areas such as construction, manufacturing, architectural design and website design. SOUTH LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL
South Lincoln High School offers many valuable opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. 34 SLHS students and three teachers will be hitting New York City from April 24-28, 2017 for a City of the Arts tour! Our trip will include cultural highlights such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Statue of Liberty, Radio City Music Hall and the NBC Studios. We will be seeing Kevin Kline in Noel Coward’s comedy classic, Present Laughter and the epic musical, School of Rock. Students will have an opportunity to visit the 911 Memorial as well as the iconic Empire State Building, not to mention lots of time for sightseeing in Times Square and Central Park. We are looking forward to an amazing five day cultural and artistic adventure in the Big Apple! Located in Bancroft, ON, Camp Pathfinder is a character education-based program that encourages senior students to develop their leadership, independence, teamwork, self-regulation and critical thinking skills through a challenge-by-choice philosophy. During the week of May 8, students will be taking part in canoeing, first aid, low/high ropes, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and fishing.
Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) students are looking forward to the annual trip to the Motorama Custom Car Show in Toronto (March). The passion and skill of some of the top car builders and racers is on display here to inspire students. As well, a second field trip is planned to the Ontario Technological Skills Competition being held this year in Toronto. Technology students from across Ontario are there to compete to earn a spot on Team Ontario. Later in the semester, SHSM students will continue with their industry certifications in welding, fork-lift training and propane handling, and working at heights. The SHSM programs are a great way to leave high school not simply as a Graduate, but as an accomplished student with a focus, many extra certifications, and a Co-op workplace experience. At White Oaks in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the fitness class has the opportunity to play squash, racquetball, do a spinning class and work hard with TRX band training. The grade 11 and 12 physical education classes will travel to Grimsby to experience curling and tennis hands on. They will also hike the Bruce Trail from Mountain Street in Beamsville to Mountain Street in Grimsby. Health and Wellness SHSM students will travel to Brock University for Succeed Clean, a presentation given by university athletes to teach about the promotion of competition free from performance-enhancing substances. Our students also get to spend the afternoon in the new High Performance Training Lab at Brock, to experience elite athlete training. The Grade 11 and 12 French class will be travelling to Toronto in May to visit a French restaurant where students will put their French speaking skills to work. They will also visit the Royal Ontario Museum to experience French culture and how it has influenced Canada in the early years. The Anime Club ventures to Toronto in May to select books from Beguiling Bookstore to add to our library’s collection (and for their personal reading pleasure) and they have the opportunity to explore the diversity offered at Kensington Market. On March 2, 2017, students in the grade 9 and 10 drama classes travelled to the Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines to see Essential Collective Theatre’s production of Michael Healy’s The Drawer Boy, which won the Governor General’s Award for Drama. The students not only had the opportunity to see professional actors put on this incredible play, they also received a back stage tour of the facility at the PAC. In addition, students had time to soak up the ambience in a cafe before the show and had a talk-back with the cast afterwards. The best way to learn about theatre is to see more of it! Everyone is looking forward to this culture rich field trip. The DSBN Technological Skills Challenges will be taking place at Niagara College in March. South Lincoln will have 5 students competing in various events including Mechanical CAD and in Welding. This is an opportunity to for some of our most skilled students to join other top students in the DSBN and to take their game beyond the classroom setting. A lot of prep goes into getting ready for this annual event. South Lincoln is participating in White Pine again this year. Readers
choose from 10 Canadian novels. We started reading in December and must complete at least five of the novels by April 1, 2017. Students will also be able to compete in a variety of contests, such as creating posters, book trailers or podcasts of their favourite books. In May, students will travel to St. Catharines and participate in the DSBN White Pine Conference. Students can participate in many different workshops. Last year, students were excited to attend writing with an author, self-defense, cooking, horror makeup, and fencing workshops. 16 of South Lincoln’s senior SHSM Construction and Manufacturing students completed their First Aid and CPR certification, participating in the training on February 14 & 15. This training is provided as part of a SHSM program, helping to prepare the students for their future paths endeavours, and making them and those around them a bit safer.

HO SP I TA L I TY A N D TO U R I SM P R O G R A M PA R TN E R S WI TH LO CA L I N D U STR Y A collaborative project between the BDSS Hospitality and Tourism program and Elaine Aquan-Yuen, owner of Pear Blossom Orchard Farms in Vineland, has provided an amazing opportunity for one of our students. Elaine asked BDSS to create a dish using Swiss chard that she grows and sells at the Grimsby Farmers Market. BDSS Buc Anthony Zilic created a wonderful pasta dish with this ingredient, which can be found on the Pear Blossom Orchard Farms’ website pearblossomorchard.com (click on “recipes” and then click on “Penne with Swiss Chard, Pesto and Pancetta”. Elaine has been very supportive of the Hospitality and Tourism program at BDSS, having donated some of her amazing vegetables for our students to cook with.

H IP TALK ASSEMBLY Jeremy Hoyle has been performing the music of the Tragically Hip since 1995, with his band The Strictly Hip. Tragically Hip vocalist Gord Downie’s announcement of his diagnosis with terminal brain cancer has stimulated a national interest in the band’s music and its importance to Canadian culture and conversation. Jeremy now shares the tales of Canadian history, culture and legacy with student and business groups with a unique presentation that features music and discussion of the lyrics, poetry and literature behind the Tragically Hip and Gord Downie’s songs. Jeremy visited BDSS on February 16th, 2017 and treated our senior Bucs to an amazing journey through Canadian folklore, history and music. As part of the event, our Bucs offered a student-generated monetary donation to courageforgord.org, which supports several independent charities.
WIZ ARD OF OZ This year, BDSS will be performing the classic musical “The Wizard of Oz”. This year’s performance will feature “munchkins” from our family of schools: Jacob Beam, Senator Gibson, and Twenty Valley. Starring Leighanna Fischer as Dorothy, Sage Lunshof as the Scarecrow, Ryan Simmons as the Tin Man, and Thomas Melmer as the Cowardly Lion, this production is sure to be a hit! All performances are open to the public and we hope you will come and watch this spectacular exhibition of student talent and hard work. Matinees will be held at 12:00 pm from April 24-27, evening performances will be held on April 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 7:00 pm. Admission is $15 for adults/seniors and $5 for children.

Blessed Trinity hosted a Reach competition on March 2nd and throughout the months of February and March, our Reach team competes against all eight Niagara Catholic secondary schools. R O B OTI C S TE A M by: Joe Tazzeo On February 25th, the Blessed Trinity Robotics team went to Vex Robotics Ontario Provincial competition. This year’s challenge was “Star Struck” where teams had to build robots to launch stars over a wall placed in the centre of the arena. In order to qualify in the for the provincial tournament, the team had to reach the elimination rounds in the regional competition, in doing so they came third and beat more than 60 teams! This gave them a spot in the provincial competition. This year’s senior team consisted of Chris Zhao, Lukas Schmitt, Joe Tazzeo, and Hayden Power. They were led by the school’s computer science teacher, Jimmy Yip. The Robots Club is an after school club which allows students to design and program robots to compete in Vex Robotics competitions and has been steadily growing over the last four years.
R OW, R OW, R OW, YO U R E R G by: Sam Di Benedetto The Blessed Trinity Rowing team is in the midst of its winter training season and our rowers are certainly excelling. On Sunday, February 5, three Blessed Trinity athletes competed in the Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships in Mississauga. Abram Van Engelen won gold, and Lauren Kelly placed eighth out of 48 women, in a highly competitive category. Meanwhile, 24 novice rowers and three coxswains attended the Novice Sprints Ergatta at Denis Morris Catholic High School in St. Catharines. Some highlights included a second place finish by Schylar Holierhoek and a fifth place finish by Owen Livermore. It was a day of
BL E SSED TR INITY MU S IC - ON T H E ROA D by: Sarah Green On February 22nd, the Blessed Trinity Concert Band and Jazz Band travelled to Redeemer College to perform in the Golden Horseshoe Music Festival. After a number of strenuous, dedicated rehearsals and independent practicing, the members pulled together under the guidance of Angela Maccaroni to put on a performance that Blessed Trinity can be proud of. In preparation for the Golden Horseshoe Music Festival, the Jazz Band attended a workshop at Lakeshore Catholic Secondary School on February 16th. This provided the Jazz Band with a valuable opportunity to refine their set, as the feedback from the adjudicators greatly benefitted their Festival performance. personal bests and great sportsmanship, leading way to great success at the Eden Erg Competition, held on February 18h, where senior rowers put their skills to the test. Next on the agenda was the Ontario Indoor Rowing Championships which was held at Ridley College on March 4. Team members gave it all they had, knowing that the official start to the season is fast approaching. Our athletes train five times a week and these ergattas are great preparation for the highly competitive water season. Here’s to a great season on the water!

his past February, students enrolled in French classes at Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School were fortunate enough to participate in a trip to Quebec City and Montreal. Students departed from Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School on Wednesday, February, 8th and were greeted in Quebec by a warm Quebecois dinner and a tour of the old city. The next day, students visited Village Vacances Valcartier, a waterpark-turnedplayground during the winter months, where they went tubing and participated in other winter activities. The day closed with students visiting Carnival de Quebec, a famous winter festival involving ice castles, human bowling, and taffy on the snow. The journey continued on to Montreal, where students enjoyed a morning of free time and shopping on St. Catherine Street. Later that evening, students visited the top of Mont Royal, Montreal’s name sake. On their final morning before returning home, students were able to visit and tour Notre Dame Basilica and learn about Montreal’s rich history. Special thanks to Brendan Monk and Reg Marshall for an amazing tour experience, and to Madame Beltrame-Presta for her dedication in planning this unforgettable experience.
The opportunity to travel to Quebec City and Montreal proved to be an enriching experience for our French students. By using the French language in order to communicate in everyday activities, our students experienced the authentic situations we try to create in our classrooms. More importantly, their first-hand experience of the French-Canadian culture allowed them to contextualize all they are introduced to in the classroom and continue to gain a greater appreciation of language and culture and the interconnectedness of the two. Lifelong memories were definitely created but so too did this opportunity foster a love of language. - Madame Beltrame-Presta
