SPORTSMAN SNAP UP RCBS The SGC Group has announced it will be the UK and Ireland’s official importer for RCBS Reloading Products
SGC told GTN it is excited to form a partnership with RCBS. For many shooters, RCBS is the world’s best reloading brand and one that has led the market for years. RCBS was distributed by GMK, but presumably the fallout from the purchase of RUAG Ammotec by GMK’s parent company Beretta meant that RCBS no longer fitted into the GMK portfolio. RCBS is a brand SGC was keen to invest in when the opportunity arose. Moving forwards the group hope to reinvigorate the reloading scene within the UK, enlighten shooters and demystify what many riflemen see as a “dark art”. Entering into their 81st year RCBS has been creating quality American made reloading products.now for decades, owning multi-site business with over 110,000 sq feet of US-based manufacturing. And
to this day they manufacture 97% of their products in mainland USA, something the company is proud of. SGC Managing Director/Founder Gary Lamburn said: “SGC is proud to represent America’s best reloading brand and a company that has led the industry for years. In our experience RCBS are the best equipment manufacturer in the reloading segment. Having the opportunity to invest heavily in such a brand and take it to new areas of the rifle market is an exciting prospect for the team.”
As part of the group’s approach, it will initiate a program of industry wide education and have its team on-hand assisting with any questions that dealers, or customers may have. Together with their loyal trade customers, SGC Trade hope to build sales and provide dealers with add-ons, including the potential of repeat business through consumable sales. First shipments of stock are expected at the end of January 2023. With immediate effect SGC will be handling all RCBS enquiries.
