Airbike flying motorbike is a breakthrough in personal air mobility.
This groundbreaking design shares a lot of similarities to "speeder bikes" featured in popular science-fiction movies. This is the first such "hoverbike" vehicle that does not use propellers to fly. Its silhouette and compact footprint closely resembles today's sport motorcycles.
The futuristic single occupant vehicle is a realization of a bold concept often portrayed in science-fiction movies - this is where the inspiration came from many years ago and with time became the obsession to its creator.
This "superbike for the skies" is powered by jet propulsion and is designed to carry one person with speeds up to 200km/h or 124mph.
The Airbike's proprietary stabilization system enhanced by a flight computer provides automatic hover and ease of control for its rider.
The unique riding position with unobstructed 360 degree view helps the rider to quickly become one with the flying machine and provides the sensation of complete freedom.
Thanks to Airbike's extremely compact size and no spinning propellers it can travel through most confined areas with ease.
Airbike has just come out of "stealth" mode development by Polish inventor and entrepreneur Tomasz Patan who is also the founder of Volonaut.
The Frick Collection reopened to the public on April 17, 2025, following a multi-year renovation and enhancement of its historic Fifth Avenue home. The museum's permanent collection is now on view in restored spaces, and the second floor, previously closed to the public, is now open, showcasing rarely exhibited and recently acquired works. The Frick Art Research Library and its refurbished Reading Room also reopened concurrently.
As declared Ian Wardropper, the Frick’s outgoing Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Director, “As we look ahead to reopening our doors, we are excited to welcome visitors back to enjoy what makes the Frick such a unique museum within the cultural landscape of New York City. The intimate encounters with art offered by our historic galleries, along with new spaces transformed from former domestic interiors, remain a cornerstone of the Frick experience. These spaces have been enhanced thanks to the efforts of the architects, artisans, preservation experts, curators, and many others who have made our historic renovation and enhancement project a reality. We are especially honored and gratified by the extraordinarily generous support of donors to this project, the most important in our history.”
According to Elizabeth M. Eveillard, Chair of the Board of Trustees, “The Frick’s reopening is an invitation to all New Yorkers and art lovers from around the world to discover—or rediscover—incredible works of art from our permanent collection, displayed in the painstakingly restored setting of our historic home. Following this long-awaited unveiling, we look forward to giving our audiences the opportunity to experience several newly constructed spaces through signature Frick initiatives, namely a classical concert series and a focused presentation featuring Vermeer’s beloved Mistress and Maid.”

Tucked above and away from the hustle and bustle of NYC life, ChaAn is a second-floor haven for lovers of tea and Japanese treats. Cha-An was established in 2004 by Japanese restaurateur Tomoko Yagi with the Japanese concept of omotenashi (a term for whole-hearted hospitality) in mind, and with wooden tables and tatami benches, washipaper lamps and seasonal floral decorations, Cha-An looks and feels like a little piece of Japan.
Cha-An features not only matcha and senchas from Japan, but an extensive list of teas from all over the world as well. There is a tea for everyone and all are prepared with care. Cha-An also specializes in desserts – while some are traditionally Japanese, we also blend the tastes of Japan with sweets of the West. Not to be overlooked are our savory dishes, which include several types of toasts that are made with thick slices of fluffy, house-baked Japanese milk bread.
Cha-An welcomes you to forget your worries, relax with a cup of tea, and savor our delicious food.

Inspired by observing a natural graft between two trees, Erlandson began to shape his woven wonders made from “threads” of living wood. He spent over 40 years shaping the trees into complex designs in shapes like hearts, lightning bolts, basket weaves, and rings.
