After 14 years of teaching in Hanover County, VA, Karen (Rosser) Cribbs has accepted a position this past fall teaching middle school mathematics at the Collegiate School in Richmond, VA. Karen’s oldest daughter, Eleanor, is in kindergarten at the Collegiate School.
Tanya Weisheit married Andy Mera on August 6, 2011 in Larkspur, CA. EA alumni at the wedding ceremony included Laura Yang, Sara Crouse,
Scarlett Campitelli ’94, Mark Weisheit ’91, and John Weisheit ’98. Tanya’s mother, Libby, who taught 2nd grade at EA, walked Tanya down the aisle. Tanya and Andy live in the Bernal Heights neighborhood in San Francisco.

Adam Barrist was named a 2011 Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” a distinction awarded to only 2.5 percent of lawyers in PA. Adam concentrates his practice in all areas of commercial litigation, tort litigation, and contract negotiation.

Marianna Allen is teaching French at Central High School in Philadelphia. She has been happily married since August 2009. Laris Warhol was a bridesmaid in her wedding. Marianna’s most recent trip was to Australia this past summer to see her in-laws and to hang out with the dingoes.
Daria (Natan) Pahlavan and her husband, Robert, welcomed a baby girl, Kata, on September 6, 2011. After gracing the stage of the Reineke Festival Concert Hall with FargoMoorehead Opera in Fargo, ND in late October, Stephanos Tsirakoglou will make his way to St. Louis, MO in January for the Winter Opera of St. Louis’ production of Ariadne auf Naxos.
Katie Kurz reports “For the past year, I’ve been participating in an executive master’s program in Lugano, Switzerland in communications management. The opportunity to go back to school has been fantastic! During the summer as part of the program, I did a two-week intensive course at Anderson School of Management at UCLA. While I was on the West Coast, I had the chance to connect with Eric Smith and his family for a day at Redondo Beach.
Tyler Wren ’99 is still cycling professionally for the Jamis/Sutter Home Pro Cycling Team. He recently finished on the podium at a stage of the Tour do Rio in Brazil on the 2016 Olympic course and is heading to the Vuelta, Chile in January 2012. Mark Dugan ’99 and his wife, Megan, have had their second child, James, born on June 4, 2011. Big brother is Jack.
