Peter Lind and his wife, Mary, are going to Bedford, England for nine months to work on a new way of eating Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. This will be introduced in both Europe and the U.S. in 2013. With Paris only three hours away by train and cheap flights to the rest of Europe, he looks forward to making some quick trips to the continent, all for research, of course.

over Labor Day in Central Texas. Over 1,600 homes were destroyed. We were very fortunate to only have some fire damage and are very thankful to the first responders for saving our home. Our youngest son, Nicholas, is an accomplished actor and graduates in December 2011 with a BA degree in Theatre at Texas State. His older brother, Chris, works at T. Rowe Price as an Accounting Manager. Chris also lives with his wife, Alison, in Owings Mills MD.”

Ted Leisenring’s company, Marcellus Power Solutions (www. marcelluspowersolutions.com) has been working for more than 20 years developing co-generation power plants throughout the United States. Using proven technology and systems already in place, they have “solved the problem” of what to do with waste water generated in the drilling process, an issue that has threatened to slow down or stop the development of Marcellus gas wells.

Zoe Lewicki, daughter of Stephen Lewicki, is living in Nepal with her husband, Trilok Acharya, a native of Kathmandu. Zoe and Trilok met at Swarthmore College and married in summer of 2011, shortly after her graduation. She is teaching 5th grade Social Studies and Language Arts at a private school in Kathmandu. Trilok, who worked at SIG in Bala Cynwyd for two years, is pursuing a career in computer science and
