Jack finds a photographic opportunity in an unlikely place
Photo above: Grass growing on the Art and Design College building’s rooftop. I see this as a metaphor of opportunity. We all need to be like this grass and look for Industrial Design 工業設計 at DYU, our own gaps of opportunity in which to tells us about one of his favourite places on thrive. Furthermore, this photo teaches us campus. that in life we often find beauty in the most unlikely of places. This picture was taken from the roof of ______________________ the Design & Art College building at DYU. Despite being a rather desolate place for grass to grow, the grass you can see, in the foreground of the photo above, gives me a really strong optimistic feeling. This is because it only took a few small gaps in the concrete and some rainy Paul 陳柏揚, a weather for this grass to thrive here. first year student

More about Allan’s Japan trip Last weekend my sister and I went to Japan. First, we went to Fukuoka 福岡. There were many famous local noodle and soup dishes. Then for the next few days we went to the capital of Japan, Tokyo. While in Tokyo we visited many famous places. Japanese culture has many very unique customs. This was a wonderful trip. I really hope that I will be able to visit Japan again sometime soon.
