CATERING POLICIES The Dewberry banquet menu is curated with seasonal and locally sourced products. In order to ensure the freshest ingredients our Chef reserves the right to suggest changes in menu selections up to two weeks prior to your event. Pricing is subject to change and will be confirmed by The Dewberry Charleston’s Event Manager, thirty days prior to your event. SERVICE CHARGE & TAXES A twenty-four percent (24%) service charge and applicable taxes will be added to all food and beverage. Charleston, South Carolina sales tax rates for room rental and audio visual is 9%. Food and beverage, including beer and wine, sold on consumption is 11%, and bar packages and liquor are 16%. Please note, the tax rates are subject to change without notice and are regulated by the state of South Carolina.

BREAKFAST Buffets and Enhancements are displayed for up to one and a half hours and have a minimum of 20 guests. Action stations require a Chef Attendant. The Chef Fee is $125 per Chef Attendant. (One Chef Attendant for every 50 guests) BREAKS Themed Breaks are displayed for up to one hour. Beverages that are ordered on consumption may remain on display and will be refreshed as instructed. Buffets are displayed for up to one and a half hours and have a minimum of 20 guests. RECEPTION Receptions may be scheduled for up to two hours. Displays are presented up to one and a half hours. Passed Hors D’oeuvres are ordered by the piece to reflect the guest count. The Dewberry’s Events Manager can assist you with quantities needed based on length of reception. DINNER BUFFET AND STATIONS Chef attended Stations, Carving Stations and Buffets are displayed for up to one and a half hours and buffets have a minimum of 20 guests. Events with less than 30 guests have a $15 per person surcharge. All stations are ordered for the full guest count and require a

Chef. The Chef Fee is $125. Please plan for one Chef for every 50 guests. DINNER PLATED We would be happy to accommodate a guest choice of two entrées at no additional charge when selections are confirmed 5 business days prior to your event. Should you wish for your guests to select entrées on the night of the event, a $25 per person surcharge will apply. All menus offering a choice of entrées have a maximum of two entrée selections. MENU SELECTION Final menu selections must be submitted at least twenty-one business days prior to the function in order to ensure availabillity of the items selected for the group. If deadline is not met, an additional fee will be charged to cover any expedited costs. In the event a

selected item is not available despite the hotel’s commercially reasonable efforts, group hereby agrees to accept a substitution for the selection at the hote’s reasonable discretion. Please note, no food or beverage may be brought into or removed from the hotel. BAR Bar Packages are structured for one to six hours of continuous service. Bar Packages include one complimentary bartender for every 50 guests. Consumption bars require a Bartender Fee of $125 per bartender; one bartender for every 50 guests is required. Bar packages do not have the option to be ran as cash bars.
