Water. Life sustaining, essential and fast becoming a resource that will plunge economies around the world into crisis. Which is why every drop we use in our homes is precious and should be accounted for. Blip is a conceptual system where real time weather data recommends a daily water usage amount for your home. A learning flow sensor that can be installing just by screwing on externally to an existing pipe, ‘listens’ to all water activity happening around your home using ultra-sound technology. The in- situ displays, installed throughout the home as you wish will provide real time feedback on water usage and prompts you on where you stand with your daily water goal. So that with help from Blip, the next time we brush our teeth we might turn the faucet off. Image on the left shows what arrives in the box when you order Blip ; the number of in-situ displays ordered, the learning flow sensor, display chargers and a connector cable for the sensor.

Fix the Learning Flow Sensor by screwing onto an easily reachable water inlet

Clip the Blip in- situ displays on faucets, showers etc, by using the clasp

Once water starts running the IoT display will automatically power up and start counting water usage at that instance. The radial progression bar lets you keep track of the whole daily usage. And will beep when you are close to the goal.
