Native American Pattern Since Graceful mountain is situated in Arizona, we were inspired by Navajo Motifs. After studying these patterns, we discovered that most of the geometric shapes oriented at a 45 degree angle. Based on this theory and the sun path we oriented the entrances of each residential building either facing north east or north west.

Benefit of Landscape Design
Designing a dementia patients' facility with a lush green outdoor landscape featuring abundant plants, shading systems, and spacious green areas holds the potential to significantly enhance the microclimate, energy efficiency, and overall well-being of both residents and staff. Which creates comfortable and temperature-regulated outdoor spaces for residents to engage in therapeutic activities. Getting enough sun exposure will also help residents to sleep better at night.

Glazing Design
In the design of a dementia facility, incorporating PVC glazing with tempered glass provides an effective solution for maximizing daylight access within the building while mitigating the risk of overheating. The PVC glazing allows ample natural light to penetrate the interior, creating a well-lit and visually connected environment that is particularly beneficial for the well-being of dementia patients. The tempered glass helps regulate solar heat gain, preventing excessive overheating by controlling the amount of sunlight entering the space.
